my friend's wind screen got hit by some pebbles, causing a chip (crack) off the wind screen. Anyone know how to rectify this prob? Is there a solvent or something that can be used to "repair" the chip off portion?

There's no need for any discussion on this topic at all... experience ones will just call the insurance company without any hesitation.... period! It's free!!
Not necessary. Small chips are not that detrimental, unless you regularly travel at breakneck speeds on NSHW. Even that does not mean your windscreen will automatically fail.Originally posted by KamenRider:it will slowly become a spider web and get bigger by the day then one day, big crack
sad to inform you that not all insurance policy include the change for windscreen crack ... only 1st party comprehensive or the owner apply for ... anyway it's cheap to change a windscreen .. by the way ... it's not free when claiming for a change of windscreen ... if this is included in your insurance policy ... YOU STILL NEED TO PAY $50 for the change of windscreen ...Originally posted by fuelzz:To rectify you prob? Change la! Most insurance will cover wind screen crack.
