Good Driving Habits

haf heard so much abt how gd driving habits can lead to better FC and lesser maintenance problems....
in ur opinions, wat r considered gd driving habits? care to share so dat all bros and sistas out there can learn a skill or 2 in having a better drive?

errr .... ease up on the accel and brakes?
Shift to N when waiting for the lights to go green?
And pump Shell!

Not recommended to make it a habit to shift to N at every red light. It wears out your auto transmission system prematurely.
Good driving habit is not just about gaining good FC. If that is the case, all drivers with good habit will be road hoggers, travelling on the expressways at 70kph regardless of which lane they are in. -
plan ur route - u get lost..
Give enuff time for driving - u will step on the acc to make u speed and increase FC..
Step on acc slowly and constantly when move off..
can onli think so far... -

Indicate whenever you are changing lanes,filtering out and turning ahead.
Many drivers overlook this simple practice.

the above said good habits i notice most taxi driver dun have....
I always saw taxi driver cut lanes w/o signalling n some " nek nek" cut into ppl lane..
Tat's Y I NEVER give way to taxis if they cut my lane.... I HATE TAXI -
i only know how to drive a toy car -

Defensive driving = driving to prevent accident despite of others incorrect action and adverse condition.
Many times, driver in limiting speed at overtaking lane refuse to give way b'cos they think they are legally right if someone kiss the car's backside. Defensive driving teaches U that this could likely kill U b'cos the Cheongster will do stunt of zig zag in order to overtake. -
If anything, good driving habits will save u your life... if not the $$$ and trouble resulted fm accidents.

Signal b4 u make any turn. Say thanx to the driver tt u can by showing him a thank you gesture.

Acc constantly but not slowly ah. Try stay below 3k RPM. Stay below 100km/hr on highway. Look far and anticipate road condition. Avoid stop n go motion as much as possible. Use good spark plug n air filter. Try not to have extra load in your boot (eg: car wash barang barang). Service your car on time. Check your tyre air pressure.
These are some of the things i can think of for now.

Good Driving Habit is to on high beams at school area , flip middle like in 2fast2furious when overtaking etc and when not moving change to N and revv to red zone keep within 160km/h on expressway and 8000rpm on roads
