technology is so advance now...
so is there going to be this technology that the car can park by itself? or there is already?
like maybe you see a parking lot and u drive there and activate the auto park and a sensor will calculate the space and park by itself? -
I thought BMW was coming up with that technology for parallel parking or something? Where you drive past the lot, crank the wheel 45 degrees and press some button it'll self park?
Who'll get the blame if there's an accident while it self parks though? Driver or manufacturer? -

A system developed by Volkswagen Group Research allows drivers to choose between the assisted or automatic parking features. As the vehicle passes a parking spot, the system ascertains the dimensions of the available space and of any obstacles. Once it has evaluated this sensory data, it automatically calculates the ideal parking manoeuvre. The driver then presses the button which activates the parking assistant, and the car steers itself into the space in reverse gear.
Cool eh?? But I think it will only be on luxury models during the first few years of implementation, if implemented at all... -

Valet parking.....if i grow up i will nv even trust them wif my car....I dun trust valets...got once something stolen in mymums Volvo...fuck those valets....got home then noe thing stolen

valet parking?
for people who can barely pay for their cars, would usually not be able to afford to go to places that have valet parking...
btw, someone tried a 5th wheel for parking.... in prototype only.. never made it...
a wheel in the rear which is 90degrees to the other wheels... stick the front of your car in the lot, activate that wheel to pivot the car into the lot.. -

Maybe next time you just leave your car at the entrance of a mall, and it'll drive itself down the basements, looking for a lot and park itself there, auto lock then send you one SMS telling you where it parked itself

when u about to leave the mall, just press a button and the car will auto drive up to the entrance where u can just hope on without needing to look for the car?
