you sure you wish to get 17'rims? i think its too big for the car....its only my own opinion..think 16' is good enough..

Eh...bro, 16" still too big for SG usage la. Unless u got extra $$ to rub into the tarmac. 15" with good tyre should give u the grip on an altis. can anyone advice where can i get side skirts? didnt get from BM...any ideas on where and how much can i get it?

I would also prefer 16" but tyres are too expensive for high mileage ppl.
40-45k km per year.
My tyre usually wear out within 9 mth.
Btw, if you are looking for better rims can try OZ or Enkei, should cost ard $300 per rim w/o tyre for 16". Unless you are crazy/ rich enough to go for forge rim.
As for side skirt, try to get plastic one rather than those fibre made. Coz the fibre one can crack if u kick hard enough accidentally when boarding.
But sorry i got no lobang for tat.

Nope! I didn't get any news from them. I booked on 8/8 and found that mine is "Out-Bid" from the website. BTW, regarding COE's by BM, do you guys choose Gold scheme (guaranteed COE) but @ +1K or the non-guaranteed coe, I chose non-guaranteed as per advice by SE that usually everyone on that scheme gets coes....
Being a foreigner I find the entire car purchase here very confusing. In my country I can just put down some cash for the hardware and buy one. No coe/arf rebates PQP and such funny problems,....

This is a land where extra rules n regulations (R&R) come into place. Coz we tend to try the system quite often . These
R&R are here to control us .
Usually a non guaranteed scheme should do the job. Unless sudden rise in COE. For altis it'll take abt 1-1.5mth to get your car. For vios its worse close to 2mth. Wat to do? It's the currently best seller.

HELP! I've got a slight scratch on my Altis, rear left-side. Just discovered yesterday. I'm so damn mad at whoever did this. My precious baby is only 3 weeks old and i really took great care of her especially when parking, making sure there's ample space in between cars. The scratch is light greenish-yellowish about 6cm long. It's not clearly visible but hey! she's new and it's so 'heart-pained' to see yr new car 'scarred'. Can constant polishing remove the line? I'm still fuming over whoever did this. Not one to curse and swear but this time ....... %$#@*(&^%#@&)*!!!!!

U should be able to have it at quite a couple of body kit shops in Singapore. Get a copy of Wheels or any Singapore published automotive magazine, you will probably be spoilt for choice.
Alternatively, drive across the causeway, once again u have lots to choose from. -

If the scratch is not very deep then its possible to remove it by using polishing or wax.but if the scratch is quite deep then maybe you can think of spraying that particular portion...the paint left on your car might be from the one that scaratch you so hopefully it did not hurt your original paint work of your car....Originally posted by JLow:HELP!
