[b]355 is a beautiful car ... to me its still better than a 360 ... there's something about a 6speed manual gearbox that gives more satisfaction and that 'clink' sound when you shift it into the gear you want ... as opposed to paddle shifting ... but when you buys cars sometimes you also have to think of where technology is heading as well as the 2nd hand value of e cars ... they didnt sell too many manual lamborghinis last i heard ... about 90% of the owners here are using paddle shifting as opposed to regular gearbox style ...

One more picture - Mazda RX-7 FD3S Series 8 (should be the Spirit-R)
A very new licence plate too, not a mid-late 90's RX-7.
Other rare cars include the two or three R33 GT-R that might still be around - one in the Thomson/Serangoon area, ThreeBond used to have one, and a last one with a large GT wing, black or dark grey.
There is also one white R32 GT-R still around somewhere.
There used to be a handful of JZA80 Supra as well as UZZ series (1991 onward) Toyota Soarer (not the current convertible type). If I am not mistaken the current JZA80 Supra should be a late production recent import, given that used cars parallel imported into Singapore cannot be older than a certain age (3 years I think? Correct me.)
There used to be two Toyota AE101 Levins as well. And a scant handful of Nissan Pulsar GTi-R, one actually still races in SMSA supersprints.
I wonder if anyone still remembers D. Krishnan's R32 GT-R taking on the Prodrive Subaru Impreza WRX piloted by Ringo Chong on the straightline sprint in the late 90s? -
Yeah, the R32 was owned by Khoo Kay Hong and Krishnan was using it in sprints. That was the first ever SKYLINE dat came to our shores.

bismarc ... how come you like the 355 so much ... we had a 355 spyder before we got a 360m ...all i can say is that the headlights always attracted attention ... no doubt it was an older model but somehow the straight line body of the 355 was appealing ... esp with the roof down ... have this old pic of our 355 before we sold it away ...

OMG! Was walking in to my office when this bright yellow Lamborghini Diablo stopped at the bus stop outside Honda Showroom at Ubi. This girl alighted from the car and the car just went off. Time was around 07 45.

spotted this red ( i feel like saying duhz) ferrari but it's an old model.
generally shape is similiar to mazda rx-7 (fc3s) and the rear lights are like fc3s' too.
red circular ones...pretty...
too bad i just woke when and i saw this...hence..no time to take cam..
saw this yesterday near the stanford road nat. lib between 6 to 7pm. -

White GC8V and GT-T are along a different stretch of Bukit Timah, near Beauty World, where Courts was (is still?). There is still a second GC8V, gun-metal in colour, I don't know whether it is the same one that was driven by someone from Pasir Laba SISPEC camp around 2000. But I saw that one recently as well.
MotorImage did sell Impreza Coupes at some point in time, so they could either be parallel import or official imports.
I guess I've seen as many wannabe R34 GT-R as I've seen real GT-Rs. There's a "M-Spec NuR" parking sometimes at the Gateway West basement, it is a very good replica, has most of the bits, down to the Brembo brakes, 6 spoke 18 inch wheels, but almost nothing to give it away on the first glance except it is narrower than a GT-R. But you look into the interior and voila, no digital dash display.
That white GT-T trying to look like a GT-R has an automatic transmission as well.
Other rare cars I have seen and haven't got (a good) picture of include the Lexus/Toyota IS200/Altezza station wagon, NSX, Starlet Glanza, EK9 Civic Type R, Impreza WRX Wagon, MA70 Supra, DC5 Integra Type R (both 2 and 4 door models).
