what type of Tyre is good (WET-DRY)

Topic, i am not toking about initial d, i am toking about real life driving. My father is now on ContiSportContact 2 from Continental
my father tyre is going out so asking if there is better tyre than Continental -
contisport contact 2 quite good. maybe u want to try michelin.

i feel so far i try b4 better is SO-2....
try b4 Ad-07,but sell off cos lik fade abit fast..hahaha
the Dunlop wat s9000 heard not bad.
now using BF goodrich the G-force sport...not bad lor.....for the price vs grip...
The Falken Azenis(dunno if tis te name,the groove is not much tat 1,4give me if tats not te name) dry powerful but wet not so gd...
P.S-Personal view point)>>>>>but for wet days,i feel most tires also
cos if corner fast....is te Gravitation force/angle or turning,speed, etc.... tat's making te diff,if u really force ur way into a corner...most tires i feel MAY give way aka skid....

i am currently using dunlop for my sunny ... i can dig corners at 100km/h < .... is quite good grip .. even with a full boot ... my front still grips ... so far i only slided once on the metal ground

Yokohama AVS sport..grip is gd in wet n dry,very light also @ 8.1kg for 15'
Goodrich G force:grip is gd,price is cheap also...$85 per piece for 15' -

is there any tire i can get, for low noise and comfort (grip not top priority) in the size 155R13 (light truck) or 175/70R13??? not sure if aspec or aspec db come in those sizes. guess not. any other suggestion?

If your dad is quite particular about noise, then the Michelin and the 2 Pirellis would be good, because of the circumferential grooves design, similiar to CSC2. -

If your dad is quite particular about noise, then the Michelin and the 2 Pirellis would be good, because of the circumferential grooves design, similiar to CSC2. I think PS2 is a good replacement for the CsC2, it is quiet and yet grippy, ever taxi ride in a BMW330CI with PS2 for rounding. Just that it wear out too fast (25,000 to 30,000 km according to my friend)and it is too ex for me, I do travel a fair bit to the north. I'm using 235/45/17 on my E39.
Personally tried AVS Sport, SO3 and F1 GSD3. Then change back to AVS Sport, due to best value.
SO3 is a notch higher in the dry than AVS Sport but not performing in the wet, it will be dangerous if you drive as hard in the wet. IMHO AVS sport has smaller difference between the wet and the dry, its is quite a all rounder and much cheaper than SO3 (SO3 wear out faster too, about 30,000km; AVS Sport can take up to 45,000km). It cost much more than AVS too.
F1 GSD3 out for me cos of noise. F1 and AVS Sport both are noisy tyre but F1 noise starts at 20,000km while AVS starts 35,000km. Both almost same price and similar in performance.
The above is just a little feed back from my personal experience.
Do not know P Zero.
