All was fine and when after I topped up petrol, I start the engine and my jeep become very powerful in pick up when I drove out of the pertol kiosk.
After I expect the gear to change, it did not. I realised that I am stuck in first gear! I tried to accelerate and the rpm hit the turbo range and turbo was activated at first gear. I was really puzzled. I knew when in lower gear for 4X4 there shd be no wide throttle opening.
Stopped by the road side...off my engine...then start again. Everything back to normal. I then tried all the lower gears and 4X4 gears. Everything in good order. Till today I tried everything on the gears and everything ok leh...
Anyone encounter ur auto car got this seow seow problem? I full of ???? on my head bcoz I luv my Mitsubishi Pajero Mini Turbo very much . I asked around and some ppl say it is just an electronic glitch and shdn;t be any prob.

notti chip must beat backside one ok...Originally posted by RevX:hi i have encountered this problem before in a ford focus. that time the car only 1 year old with low mileage and never get whack type. i driving then the car stuck in 2nd gear did not want to shift up. the rpm just kept going up as i accelerate. so no choice did the same thing u did, stop by road side. i check the transmission fluid is ok, all the other fluids are ok, but dunno why after i start the engine and drive off again it was ok already. Now the car is about 2 years old already never encountered that problem again. I think it's just an electronic glitch cos auto gearbox controlled electronically so nothing to worry about unless u get it very often then probably some chip in your transmission is being naughty.
Yup..my Mitsu PM 4X4 is still OK now. Must be an electronic glitch.Originally posted by RevX:hi i have encountered this problem before in a ford focus. that time the car only 1 year old with low mileage and never get whack type. i driving then the car stuck in 2nd gear did not want to shift up. the rpm just kept going up as i accelerate. so no choice did the same thing u did, stop by road side. i check the transmission fluid is ok, all the other fluids are ok, but dunno why after i start the engine and drive off again it was ok already.
