power not really that good as it is on CVT (new in the market) pickup slow...but i see that as a comfort.......a simple car with auto-headlight-off feature....

Perhaps i really got no money to get a good car, but all i want is just a normal nice car. But i heard that the fuel consumption is quite high for the car?? is that true?

not true, i am driving one myself,
If u don anyhow drive or or push limits, a litre can get a 15km. mine is around 14.2. I top up only once a week around $50 odd.

Lancer is more affordable than other mid-size Jap sedans. But this car is still on SOHC engine, not sure about this trend. Moreover the COE has just increased and a manual Lancer is now $65,988. The sports version is lagi more exp.
To reduce the cost of buying one, I suggest you get a normal Lancer and install spoiler on your own. Anyway, whether it is EVO, RALLIART or SPORTS , they all wear the Lancer design. -
for power .. the new lancer is a disappointment. i would go for the civic anytime . the CIVIC 1.6 VTI has a better pick up and with that would give u more confidence on the road. I believe pple out there always meet Arses driving slowly on the right lane and when u wish to overtake them they suddenly pick up speed. then when u go back to their tails they slow down again. so .. for good pick up .. CIVIC beats lancer.. if ur concern is speed that is
