Manual Car Wash at petrol kiosks

Any good one to recommend?
I used to patronise Shell at Bkt Merah but it seemed to hv closed liao. It's a pity as I was happy with their svcs. Now I go to Mobil along Alexandra, but not quite pleased with their 1/2-hearted svc.
Appreciate good recommendations...preferrably towards the West.

Temasek poly opp got one i think is caltex, manual car wash is good, sometime got chinawoman wash for u ahaha otherwise is bangala, got fruity flavour soap, car smells very nice after wash!

Heard there's a charity car-wash at IMM carpark this Sat by TCS/RCS pple... it's a marathon stunt which will go on for 36 hrs, yes over-nite.
Feel free to support them.

I went there and I am still regretting it as hell.
1) These people somehow don't know how to wash cars.
2) They think that washing cars are like rubbing grease from the floor with a scrub.
3) My new car (3 weeks old) now sports the swirls and whirls of their actions.
4) I don't know who was it, but this bimbo from 95.8 FM was holding the sponge and jumping up and down WITH THE BLARDY SPONGE on my car.
5) whats rubbing salt on the wound is that I have to wash my car again the next day, because the damn car is dirty dispite the damage done to my car!
No way , even if it's for charity, or whatever causes am I going to subject my car for these tortures. If I want to partake in charity, I will donate instead.

what are the things to look out for when visiting such car washes? how do you all decide that one wash is better than another?

Don't trust me dude ... Car washers at petrol stations work as like their mood... but usually its clean but they do not bother to really wipe your car dry ... I alway got to park just outside the station to wipe the car myself ...Originally posted by Redz:Others

Tried Caltex at Jurong West....used to be good and need to Q at times.....but standard drop
