Merc Vibrates!

  My E200 started vibrating a week back, i sent to workshop they repair liao it still vibrates, i suspect something is wrong wif the gear box, coz it only vibrates when car is stopped at traffic lights or while im parked and engine is idle...while moving the car is fine...no vibrations at all...anyone can help?

  change the engine mountings & it'll be fine

  Auto or manual?
  
  Maybe you can check the Gear Oil.
  
  For Manual if you depressed your clutch and the jerking if off, then its the gear oil. Change and make sure topup to full.

  i got rid of the jerk when my car moves off during the recent repair...but car still vibrates while idle...

  Have u check the fuel oil misture? Thats is tuning the engine.

  Check the idle timing .. maybe its off ... and of course check engine oil ... it could be the timing belt is off ... it happens to my friend's merc about half year back

  check the Timing, there is the cold & hot tuning switch
  yup also check out the oil, Spark plugs!!

  sent it back to the workshop and demand tat they do it free for you....

  Where did u service ur ride? Have them use the OBD to find out the diagnostic code error. They should be able to pinpoint the error. It could simply be your idling adjustments.
