I drive everyday, and using the roads and expressways and by-ways, I find that our roads are so much better thought out and constructed than most HDB flat designs. Our network of roads are superb, but I really wish I can say the same for the mototirsts who uses them. I mean, you can broaden a highway/expressway as broad as you like, and it will still jam up because of the way people tended to drive; - the way they would walk.
Another bloody hazard are foreign lorry drivers who ferry workers back and forth from worksites. These I noted so far appear to be Bangladeshi, and the way they cut and change lanes is maddening and downright hazardous! Forget about the 60Kmh sticker on the tail of their truck or lorry - I usually see them going pretty much like 80Kmh on the left lane dedicated to 60Kmh limits.
Can anything be done about this?
hmm i driving a mini van .. those kanggo kind...
everyday drv highway...
TP usually give us 20 km/h allowance..
jus like for cars... same wat...
90 km/h road... they oni stop u at 110 above...
for use van same... 60 limit.. they will stop us on above 80...
thus i drv to wrk... ard 78-79 km/h...
oni overtaking .. then faster a bit...
so van travel ard 80 flat on highway is quite common...
- logically thinking... u say left lane... all jam up wif slow veh... tailgating..
but think of it.. all them travelling at 40-50 km/h.. at times...esp morning times...
how to space out... ?.. tats y most of time.. of car centre lane going at 80... i will join the sec lane since i not slowin the traffic....
at nite... sure faster mah.. common wat... at nite cars on hghway oso ard 120 mah... jus at times TP close one eye mah...
-- YES bangalah driving .. very dangerous.. and farkup....
they jus wanna go frm one point to another and bo chap the rest of the road users....
