Thousand and 1 advise there. Car is pretty good. Service at Cars n Cars real bad ... however, visit Servotronics and chit chat with the guys who own passat there and it's a different world all together.
Anyway, price is good for second hand 2001 passat. Should not cost more than 65K... else kanna Robert leow ... -
It's a reliable , sleeper, safe, highly moddable car wz very good handling.
GO Serov n u see chio A4TQMs, A3 TQMs, Passats wz Porsche brakes, Skodas wz Sk04 Turbos,(sum can even surprise a few STIs)...
all in all, a good rounder car, a solid family car and long distance cruiser.On a quiet road, u can push a bit and the surge is quite pronounced!
U cannot comapre to IS200, a diff league altogether, IS200 is smaller, more ex and u can't "play" much..A b5.5 can mod to arnd 240BHP/400nm...

Hey ... do u have a pix of the Oettinger kit? I saw one with a ABT full kit with extended Fender on a Dark Blue Passat .. and with the Large ABT words on the boot ... is damn damn damn cool sia ... and his Exhust pipe is like sticking out with the ABT logo on it ... whoa lau ... *slurp*
I dragged with it with my dad's G9 ... whoa lau ... after the 3rd gear ... he COMPLETELY lost me! i was like OMG ... he wheeled spun quite a few times when his gear changed! ... whoa power sia ... was at Marine Parade that time ...
I heard that Sin Ming has one owner with a damn cool Passat ... pumping ard 300+bhp

ABT kits r more for Audi. generally for VWs, i'd go for the Oettinger(did i spell it right?) kit. Oh yah Mega, u used to have a GTi with the Oeet kit right?

wowo....looks fierce this G9 corolla..must be like 400plus horses..no wonder can chiak passats, 911s, supra, ebos,rex...
and its sooo cheap too!!
