If you change to racing clutch i think sure regret one. Unless you are driving a racing car. its so hard and its not easy to master the biting point.Originally posted by D16Z6:me driving civic ESI...my fren change the skin at ard $100+...
ive check that the exedy racing clutch cost ard $400+...

if you accelerate and the car like no power means clutch slip...and when your car comes to a stationary position and you try to clutch on and engage the first gear,if the car moves then that means its time for you to change your clutch...Originally posted by D16Z6:how do i noe if i need to change my clutch???![]()
tis could be true...coz my fren told me his car wont stall when he engage gearOriginally posted by Forhod:If you find yourself stepping more on the accelerator when accelerating and increase in FC, it could be time for you to change your clutch.
Run a simple test to determine if there is clutch slip.
-In a stationary position, pull the handbrake.
-Slowly release the clutch pedal and at the same time increase the accelerator.
Result:
-If the engine stalls, your clutch is fine.
-If the engine is still running, time to change your clutch.

From what i know, pple with racing clutch always avoid all the peak hours and traffic jams...
If the engine is still running, I think it is better to have it check at a car workshop. The clutch could have worn out already and it is time to change a new one. Or perhaps some oil or grease leak to the friction surfaces, it could be the reason for clutch slip too.Originally posted by D16Z6:but if the car still move how???
