correct.Originally posted by Black_Ace:Subaru TS? u must be joking. my brother drives 1. i u like to get 9 to 10km per litre try it.
for lancer, the damage is better, about 12-14km.
i'm driving the sports lancer, my mileage is about 15-16km/litre
the awd of ts meant always wasting dope!
The 9 to 10Km/l is already a known fact, the Impreza excels in ride and handling, and european feel and safety standards. Ask ur bro how much he loves his car, apart from the fuel consumption. Every car, have its own forte and shortcomings. Anyway, the Impreza is a decerning car, only a decerning crowd will appreciate it.Originally posted by Black_Ace:Subaru TS? u must be joking. my brother drives 1. i u like to get 9 to 10km per litre try it.

will have to remind you that this country is Singapore to begin with. The lancer has been the bread to the Mitsubishi Company for a while now, despite what was reported, the situation doesn't necessary paint the picture for them. A look around the country can tell you why the pricing, styling, the reliability has assured ppl to stake 5 figures in the car. fyi, the car has been top selling, ranking among the top 5 ever since the new facelift is introduced.Originally posted by pixy:The 9 to 10Km/l is already a known fact, the Impreza excels in ride and handling, and european feel and safety standards. If one is only concern about fuel economy, the Altis still beats the Lancer, it has a better interior, better straight line performance, and proven reliability.
The Impreza AWD can corners hard at around 100Km/h in 3rd gear, try doing that in a Lancer
Basically, Mitsubishi only got three great cars in their range at this moment, namely the Evo, Grandis and Colt. They will be the savior to Mitsubishi. If Lancer is so good, it will not cause them to run into financial difficulties.

And I can certainly tell you the differences btw the 2 cars, dope. so what is the purpose in cornering at gear 3, or ebraking at sharp turns, mesmerized by the awd, believing you are all that invincible. Young men nowadays are accident-prone because you this kind la. Your nonsenses with colt, evo, grandis has kept you from seeing the bigger picture, quoting you again; “THEY WILL BE THE SAVIOUR TO MITSUBISHI!” YOUNG MAN!!!! AI!"
You must hate your bro a lot, juz like Subaru and Mitsubishi, are born rivals, from the start.
"We are talking being practical: I have driven both cars so don’t go telling me."
Your Bro: Buyer pays for a certain TS model, $80,000. car returns at 9-10km per litre. Driver gets to spin at ‘breakneck’ speeds, gets to TURN CORNERS AT GEAR 3
You: Buyer selects a certain lancer model, paying $67,000 to $70,000. Car returns 12-14km per litre. The car moves at the law-abiding speeds, just like the TS, but could not perform rally stunts, as it is more interested in preserving that very individual currently residing in it.
Verdict:
Your Bro: An Enthusiastic Driver
You: Point A to Point B Driver
Well tbh corners are better executed at 2nd gear. 3rd gear is for bends...Originally posted by Black_Ace:I must tell you I ain't no lover of subaru or neither am I only a Mitsu lover, once again, every one can turn CORNERS AT 3rd GEAR, if they want to, be it with awd or not.

now look carefully at the introduction of the post. What were the chap posting? The first thing that came to his mind was fuel consumption.
Both mazda3 and Subaru TS are prized higher and guzzles fuel, although i'm not so sure whether they can TURN CORNERS AT 3rd GEAR.
You: TS/M3, tat bit higher for what he's aiming for.
verdict: An “overly-enthusiastic driver”, preferably am a Subaru lover. Likes breakneck speed, suitably one to be added to the casualty list or the TP black booklet.
suggestions: Offer more varieties if possible, do not make presumptions.

Thanks for all your feedbacksOriginally posted by ldawn88:Hi Brown_rabbit,
I believe both are good cars. Personally drove City B4, feeling very spacious. Engine sounds very smooth while on road.
FC might not be the only factor that put off ppl in buying 'that' car. Driving style is one factor that determines which car you should buy.
Different ppl different view and that result in dilemma. Go ahead and test drive both of the cars! and decide which one you really one.
Wat he chose finally is far reached from what your suggestions were.Originally posted by pixy:He mentioned:
1) Fuel consumption (km/litre)

3) Durability
and he never mentioned:
1) Fuel consumption (km/litre) - Most Important
2) Performance - Somewhat Important
3) Durability - Least Important
"Both mazda3 and Subaru TS are prized higher and guzzles fuel"
That again depends on individual driving style, eg, your Bro Driving most likely guzzles more fuel than you driving.
Like I mentioned before:
"If one is only concern about fuel economy, the Altis (or Vios, if so price conscious) still beats the Lancer, it has a better interior, better straight line performance, and proven reliability."
I still stand by this statement.
"You: TS/M3, tat bit higher for what he's aiming for."
Sorry to hear that, for a little bit of money each month, they are still a better bet.
"verdict: An “overly-enthusiastic driver”, preferably am a Subaru lover. Likes breakneck speed, suitably one to be added to the casualty list or the TP black booklet.

You said "do not make presumptions", but there you go "An “overly-enthusiastic driver”, preferably am a Subaru lover. Likes breakneck speed, suitably one to be added to the casualty list or the TP black booklet."
My colleague drives a TS Auto, he's a family man, he fetches his wife and kids to work and school respectively everyday. I once ask him what he likes about his car, he praises that the TS's suspension is the best he tested so far.
Verdict: Everyone appreciates a particular car model for a particular reason, preferences can be subjective and one can even be biased. As long as, at the end of the day, they enjoys what they drive. That is most important.
