What car are u driving? Is there a bolt on SC kit for your car? What kind of power increase are u looking at ? How much are u willing to spend? An SC kit should come with a proper ECU. Are u prepared for the long arms of the law?Originally posted by D16Z6:mine is NA...

Dude i know of many bolt-on superchargers for civics. Although they give u instantly more power and easy to install, dun just think about your engine's lifespan. U gotta think about your clutch, your bearings, your pistons, your engine seals, your camshaft, all will be put under higher pressure. Fuel consumption will go up. Unless you're willing to spend the money to replace all these parts by more performance type, then go ahead. If u calculate all that money spent, u can just buy a Vti with vtec already. Wat for go and put a stupid supercharger? Unless u going to drive the car for one year more than scrap or sell, i wouldn't recommend modifying your car this way. Its all a chain effect. U change one thing, it will lead to changing something else, and something else and in the end you gonna spend a whole load of money. Save the money dude. That bit of power is not worth it.
