Parking In Car Parks

  Hmm for some car parks, eg those in town, like the one behind Taka, have sign boards displaying:
  
  "8-5.30pm on Weekdays/Saturdays - $1 Dollar Per Half Hour
  5.30pm to 10pm - $0.50 per Half Hour."
  
  And blah blah, can't remember all the words on the signboard. My question is, how about after 10pm? For eg, on a saturday night. Further more, the sign board doesn't mention anything about using night parking coupons.

  No mention of Night Parking Coupons, means even if you put the $2 nite coupons also will get booked.
  
  After 10pm if no mention, means you cannot park there. Normally after 10pm is reserved for seasonal parking.

  means all those public car parks in town actually can't park after 10pm one? No point reserving them for seasonal parking, there are no houses there.
  
  Heh what a weird system. Btw, how do i identify car parks with free parking after a certain time? If the sign board doesn't put it.

  It will state, FREE PARKING after certain time(eg 6pm or 10pm). On Saturday, Sunday or Public Holiday.
  
  Normal those sentences are written on Orange Colour Plate

  its not stated on the board right? i would think that that car park will be the same as the one opposite cineleisure, as well as the big one behind taka.

  If they din put season parking whole day, then its free after 10pm. Like Newton Hawker Centre and the carpark near Al-Ameen bt timah. Free after 10pm. I called up URA and its confirmed.

  you talking about the big carpark beside al ameen? the one where you enter and exit via a big slope? and newton circus hawker centre car park is free after 10pm too? weird. i would have thought these popular places would charge money. haha

  most open carpark in orchard rd are free parking after 10pm.

  for most CBD areas and night activities areas like geylang parking is free after 10 pm.

  Yes, it's free after 2200.
  
  Even the East Coast hawker/seafood centre carparks are free after 2200.
  
  Some roadside carparks near Orchard area are free after 1700.
