Selling off car

jus wondering, is it harder to sell off COE car now? i am not a dealer .. a owner of a COE. when i 1st got my car, i dump in so much jus to mod the car, till now the car price dropped like crazy. i wana sell it off ... however my heart says NO, cos i will lose more (and i feel the pinch abt losing so much $$$) but when i see many attractive car ... i really .. WOWwwww the car so nice.
in between, i m jus stuck, really tot of selling off my old car (i gona lose abt 7K or maybe more den that)
any advice? -
my advise is earlier the better ... more u tua more u lose out lor IMOH ...

same here lah...my car now if want to sell..me gonna to fork out money some more man...so no choice lor...wait till can get back some money then sell lor...

i guess if you are willing to sell at a reasonable price then its possible. the coe cars value is determine by just the remaining coe rebate value left. add 1k of body n thats should be the cost price. most dealers add in the omv in proportionate to the remaining yrs but stupid consumers don't realise that there is no parf value after 10yrs so omv is not applicable!
Now from what i heard, many second hand dealers have problems selling off the coe cars. new cars are cheaper n comes wif warranty. second hand cars (within the 10yrs) have parf value and cost close to coe cars. -
not to rub in salt on your wounds...sell it or lose more...

haiz, the most difficult part is... when i fork out $$ to pay for my losses, i will not have any $$ left to get a new car out.

or a painful way is to wait out for the coe to expire, renew one, then sell it slightly higher than the coe u paid. then again, the car would most likely be 20yrs old by then...then promote it as classic car

best is drive till coe expires. after which get new one.
