NTU's Vibrating Chairs!

It's a lousy design. The MLT seats are all connected by a bar and once there is a person who shakes his leg, instant headache is guaranteed! A little shake has its resonance and suddenly it feels like someone's kicking the back of your chair.
I don't know whether to rave at the shaker or the *&%*&% who designed it -
Hey dun complain about the seats in Mlt, everywhere is the same. If u are complaining about MLT, u haven't been to the North Spine LT, they are worse.

In fact, Mlt is the most luxurious LT in ntu. So be glad that u are in MLT.In the North Spine the Lt tables are so bad that u have to hold it with one hand or else u cannot even write.

true true.. MLT is definitely better than NS LTs... despite MLT is still in bad condition. MayaJade, juz curious, always see you in chit and chat, which coz are u in??

well, if the chairs are all so bad, then maybe we should ask them to give us new chairs that are more comfy right? the LT chairs in JC were harder but they didn't shake like in univ -
hi mayajade....i'm in eng 1 too....MLT chairs ok wat...yah lah excpt for the part where one person shake leg everyone affected...happened to me once...this guy beside me shook his leg throughout 3 whole lectures !!! wah piang...cannot tahan him sia...but still MLT is the best !!

I'm from Eng 1 too...the chairs r fine and I find them pretty good compared to those in my JC...so just be thankful....and u could politely ask the person who shaked his leg to stop...pretty sure he'll listen to u...so good luck! -

hey, i like MLT seats.i mean, they r very comfortable mah unlike the other LTs in South Spine which are not as nice(not conducive for sleeping). but the food in canteen B sucks...

Eh.. don't complain lah... you should see those LT18 or 19 chairs... those small cramped LTs in the north spine, really makes me wish I were back in MLT.
But then again I skip 80% of my lectures! haa haa.... -
Come on lah guys, assert urself...... just say politely that he should refrain from shaking his legs. Otherwise, just make him paiseh loh. Say at the very top of ur voice how uncomfortable and fustrated u are due to the person's inconsiderate behaviour. If he still persists, just in the middle of the lecture, get out from ur seat and move all the way down to the vacant seats in front. Everyone will know by this time why u wanted to change seats and that person will be labelled "inconsiderate". So come on, do start asserting urself!

MLT chairs are ok... If someone shakes his leg, just tell him off loh.
Anyway, the best seats are not in MLT, but in the auditorium. Really comfy and cush. But when u r listening to lecture, where got time to notice the seat? ~
We should get Canteen 2 tenants to do a swap with canteen B tenants! then we dun have to travel all the way to canteen A. -
yeah! swop tenants!!
but i heard from a few frens that they dun have much time to eat,so they always make do with the food in canteen B. out of curiosity, do u ppl avoid canteen B food whenever possible? -
Canteen B food? hmm.. haven't tasted it for almost 2 yrs now... been eating at Canteen A.
Anyway.. yeah.. i do try to avoid eating at B whenever possible..
