  How do all of you feel about the new bus service to NTU?

  *chuckle* not exactly objective comments huh devon? i dun frequent 179 either..all i can say is that SBS will only open another service if it sees $$$$ rolling in...thus the reason why they delayed openeing another bus service into the campus until NIE moved in, this despite repeated proposals by the Student union.
  
  Not to mention the courtesy of SBS drivers nowadays...not just 199 and 179 but as a whole...atrocious! Keep this up and TIBS will overtake them in terms of standards and service, if they haven't done so already...!

  Some of frens complained saying the service sucks even more during exam periods... i dun think its possible for the student union to do anything abt it...the commuters have just got to take an earlier bus. cheers~

  The 179 service has "improved a bit" ever since receving feedbacks from NTU students. The frequency of bus 179 has been 'reasonably sufficient' during peak hours only.
  
  But don't worry, the LRT/MRT will be coming to NTU soon in the years to come...for the future generations. (graduate liao!) It'll lighten the load off SBS Transit in the long run.
  
  but the LRT/MRT will be beneficial for those students who aspire to become a teacher and taking a course in NIE...OR pursuing a MBA course in NTU....after you/they graduate...

  i just wanna say, last time i took this bus from boon lay early morning, i find that ppl are realli realli inconsiderate when they blatantly cut queue, especially if from the left they just crossed the bus bay then innocently at the head of the queue as if all the while been queueing there.
  and i oso cant stand the way bus stamp holders can blatantly cut queue and move to the bus as if the bus pass is some SBS platinum membership card. ppl like me use transitlink poor thing been in the queue since the tail at the mrt station. well i'm riding a bike now so all u bus stamp holders can smell my exhaust heh heh.
  but seriously my point is i guess one of the ways to make the service better is to look at ourselves and be more gracious, we too can help make it better instead of just demanding stuff from SBS.
