Bombardier: Simply from the electric rails located above the guide rails. This does not apply on switches as there are no electric rails on the switches.
Mitsubishi Crystal Mover: From the electric rails on one side of the side of the train, there are two rails, one provides the current to the train, and the other is for the return current.

Peak Hour should be like 1 Min will come, den de next train will be like 2 mins,i saw saw something weird it showed 2 trains are coming in 2 mins time..
2 min 2 min..ltr crash..lol
Can happen, one train may be not for board, SMRT like to announce last minute for the train is not for boarding and the train just go by the station....
hmmm..it might be due to a STIS glitch or ATS transmitting wrong info. trains have to maintain a minimum distance headway...2 trains in 2 mins is quite unlikely as it may be compromising on some safety aspects....
How many C651's are there with the modified grabpoles (or whatz it called)?
I saw 235 (i think) with the 3 branch one.
i once dreamt of this:
Marina Bay 2mins
Marina Bay 1min
Today SBS Transit NEL next train arrival system break down totally and it shows next train will arrive at intervals at 6 mins, any idea why that occurs.
no idea. today I at Braddell station (shld be) then the screen show (1)Pasir Ris & (2)Boon Lay 4mins 3mins. But the arrival time is the NSL one.

Random Message, the TVs on the platform shows different messages from those at the concourse and those at the next station. Things like "Train will arrive in 6.5 mins", "Train service interval is 6 1/2 mins", where the minutes can be 5, 6.5 (some show 6 1/2), 7.

For the first question think it is just for aesthetic purposes. (Think of the Crystal Movers on SKLRT and PGLRT) I'm not sure if it helps clear snow in Japan ...
Sorry I don't have a photo of the C751B, so cannot photoshop.
