Sorry for taking so long but I think that there is something wrong with my PhotoShop as I cannot save properly and the files become corrupted later. Wonder if you can ask someone else to help you fulfil your wish.

This morning I took 053/054 (refurb) and I was in 2053 and i noticed there was those displays in the train (The one in C751B that shows the time and date) Is it just for display and are they gonna remove it soon? 2053 was the only car with those things.

Third rails are switched off after the last train service has terminated. Maintanence vehicles uses diesel as fuel to move about. I'm sure they won't want to risk their workers getting electrocuted by 750V of electricity when carrying out works. =.="
The inner rails are used to reduce the amount of vibration caused by the train. Just like stones on the tracks to reduce sound.
Why NE line still use the overhead cable as a mean of power supply to the train instead of third rail?

The overhead cables generate 1200V of AC power, which obviously provides more power than the third rail - 750V DC.
As NEL is fully underground, it was also a good choice to use overhead cables as it does not give that "unsightly" of Singapore.

1500V AC.

Because its provides trains the ability to travel at a faster speed, and LTA wanted to try it out.
and apparently they decided against it liao, reverting back to 3rd rails for new lines.

Sorry if this questions had been asked before.
1a) Most trains entering Bukit Gombakfrom cck during heavy rains will stop first before entering the station. Why?
1b) After stopping, there will be a red light lighted from the 1st cabin.. It is located between the parted windows and on the top of the emergency exit door why? and what does it means? it will than make its entry.
2) Can anyone explain to me what are the flashing lights at every station means? And also the lights on the tracks... thanks..
My post too nooobbbbb
I not sure if it ok to post about NEL train here?
There is one NEL train quite weird sio.I mean when it reaches stations, it slows down a-bit to stop lah (of course I understand, driverless) but it like a tortise when it need to stop at the staion plus when the train doors open, the plaform screen door never open until about 2-3 sec then open. and it is also one of the weirdest NEL train that I take and if I am not wrong, I was on 70251? the train cars
