And no, there didn't anticipate it to be an interchange. It's also unlikely for it to transform into one like Tanah Merah.
to facilitate returning to depot, they just need to build the necessary additional tracks in between the stations so that the train can switch, why build the track at the station itself?
i also remember vaguely long ago seeing somewhere there was actually a planned line(scrapped later) branching out from AMK going to kallang or sth....so wondering if that was also one of the reasons why they build 3 tracks at AMK mrt as they might have anticipated it as an interchange at the time the station was built(but not now of course).
i have further questions.
1. is the serangoon CCL interchange like Outram park where the linkway between the 2 lines is only in the paid area, or like dhoby ghaut where there is also an additional linkway between the 2 lines which acts like an underpass available also to those not taking the train?
2. from serangoon NEL to changi airport, which is the tested and known faster way:
transfer to EWL at outram park
or
transfer to NSL at dhoby ghaut and then cross over to EWL at city hall?

orange light?
driving in restricted manual mode.. usually in depots..
I have one question, when will SMRT replace the most outdated, lousy piece of scrap metal (LRT trains) at Bukit Panjang?

oh i see, thanks.
Now there is Joo Koon station in an industrial area, an extension into Tuas has been announced and will be operational by 2015.
Do you think NS6 Sungei Kadut station will be operational by 2015? (together with the opening of Tuas extension) Or the plan to build the station was cancelled already?

hard to say about datelines... but i'd rather put it as 'planning to build' rather than 'shelved'. sooner or later that area is going to be develop and the question is when.
Why is C151 de only model to have adverts on their body??
When the orange light at the front of the stations blink, does it mean that the trains have to drive in CM Mode?

Yes, the information will be placed at the HeadWall of the platform.. If it blinks, then the driver will have to read the information given by the station officer, and it it said, drive in CM mode, the drivers will then change and drive to CM mode.. Until a station which dont have the notice and blinking lights, then they shld proceed with Auto mode..
Currently, i dont know abt the red lights.. Will research more about it..

I have a question!
I know tht on MRT Stations, at the front/back of the station (Door 1/24)there is these small signs. HW is HeadWall (Front Of Train) & TW os TailWall (Back Of Train).
So, what are the other 'signs' mean? Eg: EB, etc...

NB= Northbound
SB=Southbound
EB=Eastbound
WB=Westbound

Probably because they had special materials on the new black body to have it pplacing an ad. If you notice, the skin of the C751B is diff of the refurbished C151.
