  Guys, how do they control the tracks? Automatic or they have people controlling? Where is the control station for those tracks?

  he should mean, the switching of tracks. how they manage to control the points, and such. i guess shld be from the station, but got a feeling that city hall controls the signalling.

  Haha yea i mean switching of tracks..eg, a train going to depot must share with the same track with on service, after which, they will switch back the track for the service?

  it should be auto. everything is motorised. just a push of a button the track will be switched.

  CGD perms serve EWL and CGL often.

  001/002 on CGL (BSD)
  003/004 on NSL (CGD)

  anyone to share on the current fleet size for SMRT, ie: 1G: Kawasaki, 2G: Siemens, 3G: Kawasaki. Seems more trains are "being recruited" ...

  1G trains , 66 trains. 2G trains , 19 trains and 3G trains 21 trains.

  Total:106 trains.

  why throw?

  me and some other people have answered people's questions quite in a detailed manner. if throw away, we might have to retype the answers back. some of the answers i gave, are acquired from my uncle, working in the smrt arena, since it started..

  Ya . This thread can also help people who are not sure about the MRT/LRT.
