When SLRT opened in 1999, the company was running on their own, with their maitainance crew to manage its fleet. Almost all of the employees of the SLRT were inexperienced and have no background in railway services, thus it resulted in numerous breakdowns..

For example the vehicle collision that happened on 19 November 2000. When the new CEO of SMRT came in (IIRC 2003/2004), they decided to re-organize the LRT, upgrade its GEALOC (a Bombardier fixed-block system technology) signalling sysem and put in more capable employees from SMRT. Till now, the operation and the services of the LRT turned out to be 'flawless'? till today...
Since you said that the system has upgraded, why is it that the system still perform very badly such as violent and sudden braking, slow travelling speed on straights and entering station etc? I still prefer the way the LRT operate in the past under "SLRT" as it is more comfortable and faster.

That is why, I said, 'flawless?' till this date.
I may not have the answer to your questions here.
I've experienced it myself many many times of the slow travelling speed, sudden braking and such. And still I do not prefer to travel by LRT, unless I have no choice, I'd use it.
It can be due to the change of gradient, max running speed on the certain stretch. Honestly I do not know why is there a sudden braking.. It may have probably want to slow down as the section ahead isn't clear to enter, it may have reach the maximum running speed, change of gradient level perhaps...

What do you mean by "VPIS trains in C751B"? 20 C751Bs have VPIS (347/348 removed).

All not in operation.
Why sometime in NEL to HarbourFront Station, no terminating announcement between Outram Park and HarbourFront only "Next Station HarbourFront Terminal, all passengers please alight at this station. Thank you for travelling SBS Transit"

It is not sometime it is most of the times. They only play that when the train goes out of service at HarbourFront or goes to the reverse sidings.
How does the train goes to depot when they terminating at Outram Park? All underground stations. Don't tell me the train pass by the station.

For some stations, the train will pass by quickily but for other stations, the train will stop and after a while , it will move off. Why does the train stop when it is a DNB train? Signal shows red?

There can be a few reasons;
1. There's another train in front
2. Change of TO
3. Instruction from HQ to stop at due to some reasons
Normally, it's the first reason and second reason (If you remember the joyriding trip we had).
