with regard to ccl announcements, why is it that the announcement goes " Serangoon Interchange. passengers who are continuing their journey towards HarbourFront int. or Punggol, pls proceed to the NEL...Serangoon int. pls mind the platform gap." same case for "Bishan...Marina Bay or Jurong East int....NSL...." instead of the conventional type on EWL and NSL?

I have this question too.. but they replied me "Then I ask you why SMRT and SBS are not the same?" I also not sure what they meant...

Tunnel lights are on when their are drivers driving in manual and that is only a certain time in each day.
Please list out the station code for each of the stations on the Bukit Panjang LRT.
What happened to the C651 refurbishment?
No news at all.

It seems to be delayed.
By the way, trains entering JUR will all be in CM Mode, right?

Until JEMP complete.
By the way, if someone can product Promenade station track diagram will be nice.
If you stand at the back of the driving cab where the TO is on a C751B, everyone before it moves, there is a 'cluck cluck' sound. Is that the handbrake? Or what?
Today, I was travelling between BSH and AMK, and there was a train at the middle track between the 2 stations. It was a C751B with a TRN 094. It was in CM Mode. It stopped there. What was going on?
Can the headlights of the train switched off when the train is moving?
Why when Do Not Board Train , they still on the lights?
If there is a minor flood on the tracks(especially in tunnels),can the train still move??

Can. However, there will be a jerking or sort of, because the wheel in MRT will be faster than the actual speed which thus the TO will do something about it (Cannot remember the name / term).

How do you know is delayed? Any reliable sources?
We are talking about facts here people. We need source to support our stand. Don't anyhow make your judgement and mislead others.

Actually, I wont call it a delay. In fact SMRT did say C651 refurbishment will be done, but the minimal / earliest possible year they can consider is 2010, so if I am SMRT, I want C651 refurbish in 2012 also can, 2015 also can.

Yah, I am talking about wheelslip, but SMRT and most other Mass Rapid Transit system (MTR in Hong Kong, Japan Subway etc) does not heard of sanding. Somewhere earlier got post questions on it.

SMRT has started pasting reserved seat stickers in the C651s. Also, the C151s were around 20 years old when they went for refurbishment. They should go for refurbishment around 2014, at this rate.

Sorry, I meant station initials
How to post a picture?
1. What is the purpose of having a time limit on travel?
2. Why trains must enter JUR in CM mode during JEMP?

2. So that they can do emergency braking should they see any obstructions on tracks. Also, I doubt they can't move fast during the construction.
It's the same as the notice of CRANE WORKING AHEAD: Be prepared to apply EB. Same goes to here, what if they saw something obstructing the line, they can at least apply the EB before something bad could happen.

Ok since you did some cross-referencing and you estimate that date, let's just wait till SMRT decides to say something before we continue to speculate about this matter.

This is up to them to decide when they want to get the C651s for refurbishment. I seek your understanding to not anyhow speculate the dates. Guessing would be ok, but do not make it sound so real.
