Ytd at Simei station also saw that. 013/014 came after 061/062. 013/014 fresh out of CHD.
Notice and compare how the RATIS displays the information. 1st video can see '' NEXT TRAIN '', 2nd video RATIS does not have it.

Sorry for being ignorant. Anyways, i now how RATIS works. It depends on the arrival of the train.
If the train has not reach the station, it will display this
For eg.

From Automatic mode to Coded Manual Mode.

Ouhh...I see...but can they change modes while the train is moving??

Nope.

They can only change modes with the EB on.

BTW, is this applicable only to C151, or also as the likes (All the EWL/NSL rolling stocks) or all Singapore trains (C751A, C830 etc also) or generally every single train in the world?

New query: Is there an explanation for why the CCL trains are so much noisier than the ones on NEL?
Is it the sound-proofing? 3rd rail vs overhead cable difference? Or plainly crappier tracks?

Personally I find them the same on straight stretches of tracks.
I would suppose they are caused by the tighter curves, causing the flange of the wheel to rub harder on the rails.
If you want a bit of Physics, it could be the smaller tunnel radii causing the sound to echo back faster and thus sound louder.
There is no difference between 3rd rail and overhead catenary wires other than limitations of speed and voltage.

Cannot be tracks. All tracks are the same: UIC 60.

UIC 60? Whats standard is this? (And sounded like a washing powder brand)

Hah?? Don't tell me you train fans all duno what is UIC 60??
The weird thing about CCL is the tunnels.
Approaching station, tunnel starts to ascend upwards.
The station is like on top of a "hill"
Once leaving the station, it starts going downwards and curving all funny directions.

UIC 60 is the model of the tracks
