Why sometime late and delay? Example: When train approaching Marsiling, wait 20 seconds (train stop soon) then "Marsiling ... ... Marsiling"...

Don't expect equipments to go 100% your way. Remember, SMRT isn't Burger King, You Can't Have It Your Way.

The thread pertaining to the plagiarized ad is out.
How are they going to utilise the sidings before SW2 Sam Kee for Punggol North Provision?
Destroy one of the exits and build an extra platform and rebuild the exit? How ar?

I guess: Build a side + island platform for it. Meaning, the Punggol North / West Ascending (PW1 - PW7) LRT line will open on both side, where there will be 2 entrances to the station. (I guess it is the only LRT station with 2 sides faregates, usually happens only in MRT to serve both ends of the train)
Side Platform PGL North LRT| Common transfer area| PW Asc L PW Desc L
-----------------------------------------|--------------------------------|------------------------------------|
Faregates to PGL North LRT | Overhead bridge area | Existing PW2 Faregates |
-----------------------------------------|---------------------------------|-----------------------------------|
Street Level | Existing entrance / Exit |
Note: Diagram not to scale.
PW Asc L = Punggol West Ascending LRT Line (PW1 to PW7, then PTC)
PW Desc L = Punggol West Descending LRT Line (PW7 to PW1, then PTC)
In short, it will be a LRT version of JEMP, which I will call it SKMP (Sam Kee Modification Project) --- but it might be confused with Sengkang (SK), which can be called it as SMMP or SMKMP (Too long le ba?)
Hi Just wanna ask if Marina Bay MRT is still the 'deserted' place it used to be?
Not sure if after Marina Sands constructed liao, if the MRT is 'different' already?

Yes, usually it is deserted. I guess until the Downtown line is ready, the area will be still deserted area (Now only Promenade area less deserted --- the times of deserted is when CCL was not built) and Bayfront is the next with the Sands opening.
And I dont know how come the somebody's post is up there when the link to the thread has already locked.
Thanks Samuel! That's a great help cos I'm going there today :D heeheee

The trains on NS/EW lines are always driven in AM.. Can the TO choose to drive in CM mode??

They are not always operated in AM mode, sometimes when it rains, or like track fault, or psd installation, or even man working on the roof at the next station, the TO is forced to operate in CM. At other times, it's just a choice, but why CM when you can AM?

Assuming im the TO, it'll be boring to me if i sit there doing nothing other than pressing the door & start buttons while in AM.. I rather drive the train manually : )
How do they blur the screens on the Bukit Panjang LRT?

Well then experience driving manually ALL DAY LONG and see what it feels like.Overun=die, unlike most of the BVE games.
BTW,will the extra track tunnels at Promenade be for the CCL extention or the DTL?

Neither. A new 2 side platforms will be build for CCL. While the promenade tracks will split into two, one towards Marina Bay (USELESS unless extend to Harbourfront!) and another to Dhoby Ghaut.
The extra tracks? DEAD LUH.

They will only drive in CM, when they are instructed to. But I have seen TOs driving in CM mode although there are no notices or instructions. I guess, it's up to them whether they want to drive in which mode.
AM would be the best option under normal circumstances.

When they are late, of course CM luhz. AM is cruise when its 1/4 away from the station.
