notably these are the last to trains of bothe gens...
i remember them being special as they had LCD screens but i nv saw them actually working...
237/238 was really unique as it had different flooring... smell was also different last time... they also used the all-standing butt-rest thingy in the green cars... but only 237/238 had butt rest in the orange (end) cars... -

Those on the Yamanote Line (JR East) has two laguages of broadcast (Japanese and English), and the time is just so accurate.
Well, through these few weeks of taking the MRT, I feel that the standard is up again, now I would give 6.5-7.5 out of 10 for peak hours operations due to the better frequency, saw the best was 1-2 minutes (EWL). -
Hmm... Maybe this will give us a clue of which trainset will be refurbished next.
And SMRT, just have trains that run from Boon Lay to Changi Airport lah. It's so simple and just have the Plasma screens at every station have the sign in 4 different languages. Each time I go to Changi Airport I had to tell tourists AND LOCALS to get down and transfer to another train. Only Singapore has such a pathetic 3 station metro line. If you are nto going to change t, just ad a different colour, then everyone will know that they have to transfer. -
SMRT should introduce these interactive features on our trains. station signs already have clear maps with diff languages wat... what i think is that SMRT should install 2nd screens on every platform... are they gonna do that? cos all their screens not at the centre of the station... -

Bishan Depot is the main depot. The central maintenance facility is located there.
Other depots are like extras only, but additional maintenance facility can be constructed to make full use of the system. -

u want to go home quickly, u walk quickly to mrt station.... and the train to pasir ris comes in 8mins in peak-hr.
