  Boarded 097/098 today. When the door was closing, the door-closing red LED was being flashed on other wrong side. Even when this train was at Braddell, the LED on other side is being flashed wrongly when the door was being closed. I don't know what happened to 097/098 during mid-life upgrading... Like 007/008 whose red LED is being flashed on both sides when only doors on that one side are closing. Should SMRT do something to fix wrong flashing door-closing LED on wrong sides for 007/008 and 097/098?

  something with the wiring or the module...
  
  if no passenger informs SMRT, they may never know about this. gotta wait for a staff to board the train as a passenger and hope he sees the discrepancy.

  Nothing wrong. Even travelled on this past few days. LED flashing accordingly to the correct set of doors.

  My prediction of 085/086 undergoing refurbishment is right. I also can safely say that 075/076 also is currently undergoing refurbishment as I have not seen 075/076 for some times.

  Mr Kang's english is world class. His broken english so bad till 2 so many people cannot understand wat he is talking except me. Then I have to 'translate' to my other colleagues. And b4 I left his 'workshop', he personally give me a warm handshake.  I must learn korean.

  Samsung and F&N seems to be down. Err what about 111/112? Saw it refurbished liao at Bishan Depot 2 weeks ago wor... should be 4 trains doing refurbishment right? 089/090 099/100 107/108 111/112 just nice 4 trains. =)

  Spotted Refurbished 031/032 on NSL today returning to Bishan depot after it was terminated at Yishun. 031/032 does not bear SMRT logo on its front cabinet. What about 085/086?

  And I boarded 047/048 for my first time on EWL during evening peak today. The internal car number sticker of 047/048 is bit blue-ish not so white.

  Took 031/032 on NSL today. Yeah it was logoless. =D

  [NSL Full Day Train F59] ++ [(PM)F62YIS |215/216| (Saturday Schedule)]
  Average PM frequency: +/- 2 minutes at NS13YIS

  For those that don't know me, I like to use codes. =D

  Shift F59 meets parallel with the train doing shift F62 (Sat) at the midpoint of NSL, Yishun. Train doing F62 today is 215/216.

  Boarded 031/032 few days ago. 031/032 and 097/098 both are having both-side flash LED for door-closing issues.

  Opposite side you mean...

  077/078 is worse off.. the LED doesn't flash at all. =D

  This should be it's schedule yesterday. (Forgot if duty 73 continues to do full day or returns back to Bishan but last year shift 73 returns to Bishan after morning peak)
  So... 107/108 is NOT undergoing refurbishment. My own eyes saw it for me... Tintin do you need to change your specs? =D

  can someone tell me which part of Bishan Depot does the trains undergo refurbishment?

  passed by the depot on NSL many times but never seem to see it. or maybe I am not looking hard enough.

  I don't really know though, I saw a train undergoing refurbishment while passing by at CTE. Another time was when travelling from Bishan to Ang Mo Kio passing by the Depot. It was at the left-most track.

  The main refurbishment works are often carried out inside the main workshop. Those who went to SMRT Open House last year may know about it.

   

  If you could see a car or 2 from your MRT train under a small shelter near to the Train Washing Machine, that's where part of the works are done. You could see a refurb train at the inspection bay everytime you pass the depot by MRT.

   

  For those who spotted half of an MRT at the stabling yard nearest to the maintanance crew yard, that's where they store MRTs which are undergoing repairs or refurbishing on Weekdays (Morning till late afternoon) when there's simply no space for it.
