All make sense. 075/076 could be refurbished by either Dec 2008 or Jan 2009 depending on the speed of refurbishment process.

There is a probability of 9.43% of getting one of those trains, and a probability of 90.57% of not getting one of those trains. And this is assuming that all trains run at the same time.

Although the 10 refurbs only run at full only at peak hours..?

Whoa!!! Thanks alan!
Even if they install this, what about those in the C751B's? Most of them are always turned off.. Or are they gonna activate all and start installing this in the rest of the refurbs?

Wah lao, I thought these were removed from the C651s because they were not popular with passengers, now no cushion but metal summore. If really must like that, copy JR's style. Peak hours fold back seats. Off peak open seats. OR FOLLOW HONG KONG MTR'S STYLE OF 45 SECONDS FREQUENCY DURING PEAK HOURS. LTA say what 2-3 minutes... That should be for off-peak. The 2/3-seat 1/3-empty configuration looks like SMRT got no money to even buy 2 rows of plastic and 4 pieces of glass liddat.

Kinda agree. This is worse then those in the C651's..
Those cushions on 2209/2210 last time.. Actually 10 of these type of train oreadi quite just nice.. Just release it during peakhours and not normal hours can liao..
But sit on the floor skarli got girl wearing miniskirt stand near you
some siemens train like 221/222.. flooring is very slippery and shiny
and compared to other siemens... dirty and rough..
btw... train 225/226 is always on NSL.... and train 237/238... for the entire train carriage got 2 modified grap poles at car 1238....
so far for the modified grap poles train for siemens.... is
201/202
209/210
217/218
227/228
235/256
5 of them.........
i think last time 237/238 also got cusions design right?
boarded train 033/034 and 035/036 today...
difference is 035/036 is WARM, DISTY , UNCOMFORTABLE AND STUFFY
but for 033/034 is cooling and refreshed.....and worth it to ride a few times...
any updates on c151 unrefurbs and refurbs?
C751B A/C still the best My fave train in A/C grouping. Although some of the refurbs A/C still okok..
can anyone tell me that why trains is "being snatched" by ewl..cuz i realise i noticed all the trains that were serving nsl on sunday......ARE ALLL IN EWL TODAY.....or
what train is nsl using.....i only noe is that train 123/124 and 131/132 were permantely on NSL these 2 weeks.. what abt train 129/130 and 107/108... i havent saw them for the past 3 months.....
which unrefurb sets? and if trains from nsl running on ewl today that possibly means that trains from ewl are running on nwl today.
Remember trains do not have perms/cameos unlike buses Trains switch depots overtime.

If any one of the 10 such trains come along during off peak, boycott it and wait for the next avaliable train! Let SPH see the result of her "joke" and soon the seats will be installed back once it proves unpopular with the commuters. A history repeat of what SMRT tried to do to some of the C651s in the 1990s. History repeats itself if the lesson is not learnt.
