I think high accelration beats the rest, if at power level 4 and acceleration is a start of 4km/h/sec and down to 2.5km/h/sec at high speed it could beat the bullet train's acceleration...
And braking would likely to be stable as of the current force, well, only got three levels of brake nothing much can do leh... -
errrm, the refurbish trains is almost same as black MRT
the only thing not the same is the exit doors and the trains 2 exits corners
they have a flat surface while our normal Kawasaki Black MRT are curved shaped
and the seats inside is widen -

Wondering what is the car number of next train that is undergoing the refurbishment process to be entered into service for July.

The 'Dhoby Ghaut Exchange' Ad train had turned into pure marvel. These refurbished trains have cooler aircons. If you ride a normal C151, the vents experienced condensation and water leaking. 027/28 have a water leak in the driver cabin. Actually, I took some pics of the train before refurbishment!

I have not seen this train for some times so I think 019/020 should be refurbishing right now. -

Is 053/054 train the one whose front emergency ramp being removed and is covered with brown something or cardboard right? I also saw it at Bishan depot this afternoon today.

Yesterday afternoon, saw refurbished train having test run at Bishan Depot. But sorry I can't see the car number clearly. I assumed it is 019/020 since it has been completed going through refurbishment process.
At the same time, I can confirm 053/054 is currently undergoing refurhisbment as I can see its front emergency ramp being covered with brown something and this train is parking at that area inside the depot where they are mainly used for removing the old parts like seats, lights, interior walls and etc. -

EDIT: Anyone wanna guess the next train undergoing refurbishment? I will do a thorough trial and error check before giving my guess.

Listen guys, 011/012 has disappeared for some time. That is, according to me. We may have not been seeing it on test runs, and thirdly, it doesn't take a train a full whole month to be refurbished. Another train could have been refurbished while another was undergoing refurbishment. By secrecy, of course. -
Hmmm. I guess SMRT must have speed up their refurbishment process since they were very slow refurbishing the 6 trains in first 6 months of this year.
And I think 2 trains being refurbished at the same time at Bishan depot as I can see 2 trains everytime I passed by the Bishan depot.
But I am not sure if SMRT is able to meet the deadline for 2008 to complete refurbishing all 66 trains.
