Yesterday, I was at OG Orchard Point. Then, there was a boy who was in green tees and blue jeans and slightly taller than me standing beside me in the toilet (we were both urinating). The boy suddenly said, "What was the train run number for/from Jurong side ... ... three ... ... eight ... ..."
Was he anyone of you here?

Not me. During joyrides I always stay in stations, except when I wanna go toliet. :P
What has the train identification number have to do with the trainset number?
Originally posted by nganmatthias:What has the train identification number have to do with the trainset number?
Trainset number is for the identification of the train, let's say 053/054.
Train Run number is the number used for a certain train for the trip (?, correct me if i'm wrong), like Run number 107 (does NSL -> EWL x-over)
091/092 was on NSL on 18 March 2009 (Wednesday).
*Out of topic: SMB6Y was on Bus Service 811 yesterday (19 March 2009).
Looking through the history on the MRT, NSL was given more priority as it passes through many CBD areas. But I think EWL has higher ridership now?
Due to BLE, the average frequency time during non-peak on NSL dropped from 4 to 5 minutes to 6 minutes.

Someone deleted it from public speculation although the article still exists.

???
Today on NSL many stations used the old announcemants with Junita Melson's voice.
And at most existing stations work is going on for a C151A Design and Build and Disabled Accessbility Project Package 1 (or is it Package 2)?
