ANother Refurbished Train?

So for this July month, I think it is possible for 2nd train (probably 019/020) to enter into the service at the same time since I saw another refurbished train having test run last few days ago at Bishan depot.

Can you re-look at this quote as above again? It was running during evening peak and it is on northbound track at AMK station. So if SMRT want to do test run, they could not have done it during either morning or evening peak. Yeah! Thanks to Littlearea, we can confirm that 011/012 is already entering for service. So probably we will see 2 trains (probably including 019/020) for this July month.

Okay, I did the close-up observation based on the time and date you guys posted the latest happening.
5 July @ 1.30pm - I myself saw refurbished train having test run at Bishan Depot but I could not see the car number.
6 July @ 6.58pm - Littlearea and some of you spotted 011/012 being running for service during evening peak.
So do you think the refurbished train which I saw it having test run at Bishan Depot must be 011/012? Then my speculation of 019/020 entering for service this month probably may be wrong. -
011/012 on EWL at OTP to BNL WB at 7.12am.

Eh, hello! 3105-3106 is still not ready for refurbishment. It was 'born' in 1989. Aiyah! 3021-3022 is 'perm' on EWL

For 027/028, I never seen it running on NSL since its refurbishment. Ok, I also spot 021/022 running on SB at Newton at 7.03pm during evening peak today.
I felt somehow that most of time, that and this train never appear on NSL but on EWL all the time until one day, it suddenly "appeared" on NSL into sight of air.

Oceane, you seemed to be well informed and even track all car numbers of which are in service or are currently undergoing refurbishment. It seemed to me that you are working either MRT driver driving the train or MRT personnel looking at the train passing the station all the time, aren't you?

021/022 has the ability to half throttle at last phase of acceleration. with this it could accelerate all the way to the next station before braking, though it usually just takes a longer time to accelerate slowly to the maximum allowable speed of the sector.
this new ATO mode is compatible with current signalling systems and will not exceed current speed limits. it fact it takes a longer time to travel between stations and results in reducing staton dwelling time.
it is not known if other refurbished trains feature this ATO mode. also, it went from the new ATO mode for SB trip to normal-fast ATO mode for NB trip. -
Hmm, is from my small understanding, the ATO works from communications between the train, tracks and the central system which separates the trains from each other. Does it work like this here?

yes i suppose so, but on the track side they go by signal coding of the sector's target and limit speed. trains will normally accel to target and brake, while this new system will accel slower so it does not have to stop the throttle?

not sure, though that is the only logical reason. the PTO confirmed it's not cos the motors are faulty at 3rd phase.
