Train terminates at CCK. Than there will be shuttle train service from CCK to Bukit Batok.
Den there will be another shuttle bus to Jurong East. Hence i think there will be more confusion this time

LOL! Why so troublesome?

No, you are wrong.
Trains will come in alternatively. 1st train go Bukit Batok and second train go Choa Chu Kang (Using the crossover after the station in Jurong bound sense, a.k.a the crossovers used in Pre-Woodlands Extension / Choa Chu Kang branch line era)
Well, the 1st train go Bukit Batok, then very fast, got another TO go drive the train towards and uses Bukit Gombak crossover (It is kind of EWL LTE service ends at Paya Lebar, and use Aljunied crossover to return to Outram Park etc.) so as to return to Marina Bay.

How are these stations affected?
Alternate North-bound trains on the North-South Line will terminate its service at Choa Chu Kang Station.
North-bound commuters travelling towards Jurong East Station may need to
detrain at Choa Chu Kang Station and board the next train bound for
Bukit Batok station. When commuters arrive at Bukit Batok Station, they
will need to exit the station and continue their journey to Jurong East
on the shuttle bus service provided.
So, there will be ONLY 1 train from each platform run-by during that day (same as JUR to Lakeside one)?
All north south trains return to Ang Mo Kio depot after that?
Do look out for 66, 106, 157, 174, 176, 178, 187, 188 and 189. Suspect both BRBP and SLBP sides for 157 will still deploy DD during that day itself.
66 and 178 should be the fastest way from jurong east to bukit batok.
If don't want the slow train, can take 188 instead.
From Boon Lay to Bukit Batok, 174 is the fastest way, compared to 157 and 174. However, 157, 176 and 187 can serve Jurong East Area.
From BBT to Clementi, 106 should be fastest, compared to 173 and 189. (Even though I mentioned this before)

wah. den like that, more commuters will be mroe confused than the EWL JEMP closure. It's seems for complicated

I thought EWL for 18-19 sept won't be affected
Unlucky for me. I stayed in Woodlands and trains will be MORE crowded during JEMP period !
Refering to the Jurong East-Clementi disruption, why do they have to split up Jurong East-Joo Koon?

So the number of trains running between Jurong East and Joo Koon can be increased.
OT: 2200th post.

to be continued: And SMRT can earn more revenue rather than deploying buses from Jurong East to Lakeside or Boon Lay because they've already lost quite a big amount through the Jurong East --|XXXX|-- Clementi closure
Bukit Gombak (From BBT direction), Choa Chu Kang (From Bukit Gombak direction) got x-over platforms.
Remember 2 years ago, trains had to terminate at Bukit Gombak as one person attempting suicide at Choa Chu Kang train platform.

I mean from BBT to CCK one.
For last wk end, 115/116 could have run slightly faster as the entire stretch and platform belongs to one train only
Should have been running to maximun RM Speed

Which is 15km/h, but then the motors are easily cut off, so 10km/h, which is what they are actually operating in.

Because Lakeside has a crossover, so that Joo Koon - Lakeside sector can run trains like normal line (Albeit short though) but not so for Lakeside - Jurong East as there is no crossovers for trains to terminate, meaning which, if they run a through train from Jurong East - Lakeside, they can ONLY DEPLOY 2 train at a time (Using both platforms) just to serve erm, EW24 ~ EW29 is 6 stations. [By the way, since when you see a sector of 6 stations with only 2 trains, including the train that you are riding on]

So you mean due to no crossovers at JE and have crossovers at Lakeside, they need to seperate the line into 2 sectors!

In Manual mode (RM) the P2 notch is designed to bring the train close to 15 km/h where the motor will reach its powering capacity (cannot accelerate anymore) for that notch. This is out of safety concern and incorporated into the design of the train with RM mode operation in consideration. ATO P2 notch is much more powerful. Hence if you want to get close to 18 km/h, P2 and then momentarily P3 would work, but induce jerking sensations.
