got so many threads about circle line, might as well make a new one bahs. to start the ball rolling, i will repost some photos of the stations i took some time ago as well as more recent ones.
Dhoby Ghaut station
for the circle line, they did not build any new station exits, but only built more ventilation shafts
Bras Basah Station

the much talked about reflection pool, which is supposed to let sunlight into the 30m deep station

practically the whole place was boarded up securely, but there were some holes which i took pictures through.

the raod under which the station is located was closed to facilitate construction. road reinstatement works are expected to be complete by december 2008.

just something that i want to clarify about. the underpass towards CityLink mall directly links to the esplanade mrt station or still just link to city hall mrt station via the mall? i've seen some constructions at least 2 floors downwards while i was near to the escalators which brought me to CityLink mall. don't see any construction of any escalators, staircases or lift downwards to it. the floor where this construction place is seems empty.

the station is below the linkage between suntec and citylink... i heard they're gonna have another mall down there?

i dono leh i rmb reading somewhere in papers quite long ago about another mall linked to citylink at esplanade stn... not sure if its Xchange... somehow i dont think so...

should be xchange. i took the lift from citylink mall downwards to the underpass linking both citylink mall and suntec city, which was at B1, shown as transfer. there was also a B2 ticket concourse there which isn't operational yet, so i think it might be xchange.

I went down that underway towards Citylink (I think so) quite some time ago. There were few people using that. I still didn't know that beside it was a station.
