  Boarded 077/078 at about 4:50+ pm on 17 Mar 2009, Tue, from Bukit Gombak towards Marina Bay via Woodlands. During that journey,

  • The STARIS dynamic maps are all working except the Doors Opening side indicators on both the VFDs and maps all not working.
  • It displayed the current station as the next station for a few stations (between Bukit Gombak and Kranji, I think) on both the VFDs and maps. But at Marsiling and onwards, it was able to display the current station properly again.

  Ew, it only started to work after 8.15 AM ytd when it left JUR!

  Today 053/054 and 077/078 doing NSL. 053/054 as peak hour train.

  Yesterday, all STARIS trains were on the NSL:

  053/054 during non-peak and peak
  077/078 during peak
  079/080 during non-peak and peak, STARIS not working as of yesterday, but all parts fixed up

  Anyone knows where the STARIS system gets installed? Is it only at Bishan, like the refurbishment, or can it be at any depot?

  77/78 spotted at commonwealth station, ewl, heading westwards towards jookoon, 3.20pm, all functions working except the "doors opening this side/other side" light.
