Updates on this page
1. [14/09/09] 019/020 moved from section 4 to section 3.
(Info here is no longer updated. For updates, pls refer to the later pages.)
12/09/09's updates:
011/012 & 013/014 are on NSL, STARIS not operational.
027/028 & 037/038 are on EWL, STARIS not operational.
111/112 was not spotted today.
On a side note, the Marsiling + CGL problem on 087/088 IS STILL THERE, and some route maps indicate Bukit Batok when the train is at JUR. I now declare that 087/088 is the most problematic STARIS train.

What about 001/002? tht train also quite problematic..

I think 001/002 is ok now. We saw it today, on EWL, and the STARIS had no problems. It was formerly problematic, but now i think the problem in that train has been rectified.
Speaking of this, 041/042's STARIS was not in operation today, and the train was on EWL.
I noticed that 041/042's STARIS is only working well on NSL when I boarded it the other day. When this train serve EWL, their STARIS system is off and not in operational.
On 30 September 2009, one of the route maps in 3001 wasn't working.

011/012 met @ Admiralty at around 2.35pm - 2.40pm with 013/014. i boarded 013/014 southbound.
111/112 STARIS still not in operation as of 13/9/2009 on NSL
Today, STARIS in 027/028 and 037/038 are still not in operation, the former is on EWL, the latter on CGL.
FYI, STARIS in 037/038 had been fully installed since 01/08 (nearly 1 1/2 mths alr), and STARIS in 027/028 had been fully installed since 19/08 (nearly a month), I wonder why these 2 trains' STARIS system are taking so long to go into operation.
I think the last C151 to have STARIS system is 065/066 because 1 of 3065 doors still has the Abreeden ad.

Hopefully 037/038 and 027/028 will not become 001/002's plight. Not in operation for 3 months.
Good news

Nice one! Finally a new STARIS train for the week. 34th - the 2nd half of all C151s!
Keep a lookout for 103/104, it's gone for days, last seen on NSL.

Great!The 34th C151 STARIS train. I think 047/048 and 115/116 wouldn't have STARIS soon...
021/022: STARIS Bug - Tanah Merah Bug (similar to Marsiling Bug)

Note: Tanah Merah is lighted yellow (red+green).
087/088: Review of Marsiling Bug
Note: Tanah Merah, Expo and Changi Airport are lighted in yellow (red+green)

Ok
I thought I saw 103/104 on NSL last sat? I remembered boarding it with the black area above doors. 103/104 does not have STARIS system yet.

Ya. It's gone after last week and was never seen.
Since trains that have body ads (e.g.093/094 and 097/098) got their STARIS installation while still having their ad on, it is possible that 117/118 may be the next one, as it was just reported ytd that it has the AIA full body ad.
Trains that may undergo installation next (In my opinion)
047/048 (Totally ad-less)
091/092 (Ads directly above doors removed)
105/106 (Totally ad-less)
115/116 (Totally ad-less)
117/118 (AIA body ad)
Other C151s do have equal chance of getting STARIS too, so this is just my opinion.
will STARIS show festive season message like
SMRT Wishes you "Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri"
"Happy Lunar New Year"
etc..

On the C751B VPIS, it showed before but I don't think it will show again.

I think 091/092 will have higher chance of getting STARIS.
