  009/010 still does not have VFDs, after nearly 2 months since it had gotten the route maps.

  071/072's STARIS is still unoperational.

  029/030 has returned to EWL, and still without STARIS.

  009/010 and 071/072 about 2months already still do not have any news.

  071/072 not 2 months , about 2 weeks. At least 071/072 progress is much faster than 009/010.

  Lol @ "christmas" STARIS

  Anyway, that's nice to spot the future station light dot when the map is in malfunction mode as per video. Indeed interesting.

  STARIS in 061/062 is now fully installed.

  As for 095/096, VFDs are present in x095, but not in x096.

  009/010 still has ZERO sets of VFD.

  STARIS in 071/072 and 109/110 are still unoperational.

  Faults:

  015/016 - On EWL. At JUR, route maps light all 3 stns of CGL, and VFDs show that it is at EW22 Dover.

  019/020 - On CGL. While heading TNM bound, STARIS is working fine. However, while heading CGA bound, there would be errors such as displaying the train to be at EW4 tanah merah throughout the whole journey.

  001/002 - On NSL. Whole train is buggy. I have a video of it being stationary at JUR and some route maps display that the train is at BBT, BGB, YWT and WDL. Overall, i feel that the STARIS in this train seriously needs an overhaul.

  YTD 015/016 is on CGL, maybe this train likes to run CGL more than EWL. Similiar to its brother, 019/020 which loves EWL more

  033/034 has STARIS error. After it set off from Tanjong Pagar, throughout the journey to Outram Park, random announcements were made. It actually said 'Please mind the platform gap' when it was actually travelling in tunnel. At Outram Park, the announcements said: Tanjong Pagar.

  In my opinion, instead of placing VFDs on another train, they should've have just given the VFDs to 009/010. Since 009/010 is not BSD perm and 121/122 is, there is a high chance that 121/122 will complete STARIS installation even before 009/010 does.

  Another train has overtaken 009/010 - 121/122 has route maps in all carriages and VFDs in x121 side.

  STARIS in 071/072 and 109/110 are still unoperational.

  So with everyone's experience on STARIS pros (Such as to provide visual information when passengers on crowded trains may not hear the announcement clearly or at all) and cons (Such as various complaints on not working correctly / Wrong information provided instead) , How do you think of STARIS system? (For those who rate it as a bad system / failure, please state if it should not be installed at first.)
