When 017/018 has this problem,
The entire STARIS system stuck at EW26 Lakeside.. jammed all the way as i boarded from TNM to CTH and notice this stupid thing
The doors opening aren't lighted up too :S
Few days ago, 045/046 keep having STARIS problem. The system lightings when on & off everytime it reaches and leave the stations.
4th consecutive day:
091/092 on EWL.
STARIS in 017/018 was buggy too when i boarded it (TRN 018). Throughout the journey, it kept displaying "Next station 25 Chinese Garden EW26 Lakeside EW27 Boon Lay EW28 PioneerEW29 Joo Koon TE1 SPARE TE1 SPARE TE1 SPARE TE1 SPARE TE1" then "This train service terminates at 25 Chinese Garden EW26 Lakeside EW27 Boon Lay EW28 PioneerEW29 Joo Koon TE1 SPARE TE1 SPARE TE1 SPARE TE1 SPARE TE1" and "DOORS OPENING >>>>". It just repeats these 3 messages over and over again.
So 009/010 still not opreation yet? Don't know what happen to that train. :(
In Wikipedia the total number of trains with STARIS installed is stated as 66. ![]()

Reported some weeks ago that x010 side already has VFDs.
Maybe its current disappearance has to do with the continuation of VFD installation in 009 side.

I saw the train on NSL just now
As of ytd,
017/018 on NSL decided to opt for a YIS peak hour train and STARIS is working fine..
Maybe another STARIS system HATES EWL???![]()
boarded 007/008 today & the STARIS was not in good operating condition..
117/118 on EWL, and VFDs in x118 side
STARIS in 007/008 wasn't turned on (only the VFDs shows "1.3c" or something, when I boarded it at 7:15pm today.
067/068 STARIS worked today
Hopefully all the STARIS that are faulty can be deactived.

Last time also other errors before STARIS errors came. One comes after another
(Door closing extreme delays, delay in between stations)
SMRT can choose to deactivate all STARIS one day, if problems are getting so sick....
One for all, all for one

Good phrase!
017/018, 095/096 and 099/100,
their STARIS system have officially proved to Hate EWL...
on EWL,
problematic

087/088 still has dorrs closing extreme delays.
STARIS in 061/062 is still unoperational, but running on NSL so it may go to BSD for activation. Btw, its TRN for today is 050 (I'm unsure of which depot it parks at depot)

dont know if anyone noticed this 4 spares are just nice for the Tuas West Extension?
and I agree the system seems to be having quirks here and there. maybe if this was executed by LTA it wont have been so bad..
Today 061-062 STARIS inactive.
117/118 STARIS fully installed
091/092 still STARISless! I'm gonna train camp for it tmr.
