I think the brown part could be thickened further, because from far it still looks light blue. Is it possible to change the light blue to silver?

I can't make it reflective, but will grey be ok for you?

Updates.

Four minutes ten seconds seem a bit long to me... If I am not wrong the time is about 2 minutes for those not-too-accurate timetables of first and last trains... Maybe 3 minutes 10 seconds for manual (CM?!) drive...
willis,
does this route/train have an option, where we can operate in auto/cm/rm mode? also, do we get the chance to control the doors?
thank you.

For me, the cab did not facinate me that much, perhaps owing to seeing more complicated ones before. However the digital displays on the C751B (Series 300) is the more advanced of SMRT rolling stock, the rest (C151/Series 0/100 and C651/Series 200) feature traditional lights as the main display.
I love their circuit breaker array though. Impressive. Perhaps I am more electrical oriented...
Their own platform staff also snap cab photos, LOL. It's an open secret.
Oh, and don't bother writing in. Individuals getting the stamp of approval from PR dept is unheard of in this era.
Originally posted by TIB1224Y:Lols yeah... When i was in Japan some time back, those rural line train operators don't mind taking snapshots of the cab. I must say those diesel railcars, especially the type that I favour the most (ã‚ãƒ(Kiha)54-500) are much much more complicated.
Singapore and most other major systems rely on Security through Obscurity.
Japan (and HK Disneyland Line) are notable exceptions of this, relying on Security through transparency/visbility. You can see through the glass door and have an open view of the cab, knowing that the driver/computer is doing their job properly.

They would most likely be scared to death or to laugh to death over any such write-ins haha... ;)
I prefer things to shown openly. Well, of course that does not seem to be the way in the trains ordered here (hey, except for the NEL and CCL), but if I am not wrong the older trains of Sapporo Metro is also of a similar cab design ie. closed cab.
I won't want to drive in RM for this man... 18 km/h ...Originally posted by Interception_7:willis,

Actually I removed the timetable as you will be always late no matter what in the peak hour route.
must have timetable, will be more challenging for us to keep up with time :D

Thats a nice challenge. Can gauge the difference in timing of different driving styles...
If have also a good point...
Actually the third rail cover should be quite dirty and blend in with the tunnel by now and I don't think that our tunnel is brown. Actually you do not really need to use any tunnel texture just use a dark background and make the track very dark and let all things float on the air. Basically like this (though this does have a think black wall but the author in its previous version did not use any tunnel wall texture and even the track cause it is simply too dark)
Than when approaching station a fade in effect can be and probably only here a tunnel texture is needed.
The jubilee line also to me somehow look like our MRT tunnel (newer section)
Generally our MRT system is similar to some system worldwide, some have their own BVE 4 routes. I have use the Jubilee Line & KCR West Rail for BVE4 (the one with ATO) for reference.

Me too. XD Well, I wasn't able to stimulate the headlights, therefore i had to make it abit brighter.
Actually there is no need for you to make the things appear brighther to stimulate the headlights just use the fog command. Make the fog at the front but not so close to the train that way it will create a effect of headlight where only a small portion infront of the train can be lighted up while rest infront is very dark. You can try the LU Aldwych route (BVE4) & NWM, both uses fog to stimulate tunnel darkness and headlight effect. A tutorial about the fog command and some other commands can also be found here.

The fog thing I'm using it on the rain effect on the Expo route.
Actually I hate the fog effect for some reason...
Slowly do one by one until you finish the whole line. If it is possible...

Once I finish them I'll connect them and will release as the NSL route.
Screenshots of the Changi Airport Route. The elevated area not done yet, so no outsides yet. Signals and exit signs will be added soon.
Just after CGA Station
First turn
Right beside West Perimeter Road
2nd turn (a tight one)
Crossing Pan-Island Expressway
Approaching and following Changi South Avenue 1
Right beside Changi South Avenue 1
Getting near the outside
Wow that is some decent progress all it goes well for the elevated section and outside.
