Safety screen doors at Ang Mo Kio MRT station to be installed earlier
SINGAPORE: The Ang Mo Kio MRT station will be installed with the safety screen doors on the platform earlier than scheduled, said the new candidate for the PAP's Ang Mo Kio GRC team, Mr Ang Hin Kee.
These doors will be installed by June.
The announcement was made at the 30th anniversary celebrations of the Chong Boon Market and Food Centre.
Recently, a Thai girl lost her legs after she fell onto the track at the Ang Mo Kio station.

queenstown & commonwealth PSDs are operational
a few HHPSDs are already installed at the platform of Simei Stn (twds Joo Koon direction)
Jurong East Station new Platform A & B HHPSDs will start to operation from 27/5/2011 7 am every weekdays morning peak hours (7-9 am, except public holiday)
After all 22 new trains are available in December this year, it will also start to operation in evening weekdays peak hours (Except public holiday).
Redhill HHPSDs are operational from 3 June 2011
Buona Vista HHPSDs are operational from 10 June 2011.
Tampines HHPSDs are operational from 28 June 2011.
Boon Lay HHPSDs are operational from 30 June 2011.
Simei HHPSDs are operational from 3 July 2011.
Choa Chu Kang seems to have the PSD under the escalator.
After all of EWL stations (Include Expo) HHPSDs in operational, the NSL stations (CCK to SBW and KHB to AMK) will be start to install HHPSDs.
I think AMK maybe install and use HHPSDs after start to use for Buikt Batok on th NSL because this is the last one has more than two tracks station in the all system without any PSD
Joo Koon HHPSDs are operational from 26 July 2011.
Dover HHPSDs are operational from 5 August 2011.
