Amazing Race for Train (And Bus) Enthusiasts - Possible?

  I am just wondering that since we have an Amazing Race for Bus Enthusiasts, could there be 1 for train enthusiasts? Just take a look at the nummber of train fans. Should there be 1, who is up to it?

  I can only think of going from East to West, North to South as main course.

  ok take the overnight train frm singapore to KL. then take the shuttle from KL to Ipoh and come back from Ipoh via the morning train to singapore.

  Haha, then we can have the "mandatory 12-hour rest period" like the real thing. Counts from departure of the train to KL until 12 hours time which maybe is 3 to 5 hours rest at KL Sentral. If we're feeling adventurous, let's take the train to Bangkok!

  How about this. Make a race that involves both bus and train enthusiasts, like going to bus stops AND MRT/LRT stations, and apply both MRT and bus enthusiasts' knowledge.

  It could be something like the SBST race a few years back. Participants can only use SBST buses and SBST's NEL line for the race.

  I think it's 2006 or 2007. It was jointly organised by SPH and SBST.
