  337/338, if you listen carefully, you can hear the next station announcement from the outside as the train departs.

  At abt 6am waiting for train at Pioneer, u can hear the "Pioneer" just from outside the train clearly. Mainly C151.

  probably pioneer station structure makes the sound bounce back..that y is loud...

  6am not much ppl, and i noe JKN-> Pioneer no ppl one, so the sound echo within the train, cos aircon cold at night, and after parked so long in UPD

  The future of Jurong East announcements with JEMP:
  Eastbound:
  Jurong East Interchange,
  Passengers who are continuing their journey towards Woodlands or Ang Mo Kio, pls alight.
  Jurong East Interchange.
  
  Westbound:
  Jurong East Interchange,
  Passengers who are continuing their journey towards Woodlands or Ang Mo Kio, pls proceed to Platform D.
  
  Im guessing this is the method to avoid confusion cos its not possible for passengers to cross from Platform B to the new platform.

  I'd rather have them change it to "passengers who are continuing their journey on the North-South Line/East-West Line, please alight" to make it less messy. Save the "going towards ____, ____, or ____" announcements for City Hall and Raffles Place, though.
