  （上海讯）5日上�，上海地�电视�过近�年的试���正�开通，�为中国国内首家进行直播的地�电视。

  新�网报�，截至今年底，上海地�5700个车厢LCD��1500个PDP站�大�，将为�天超过百万的地�乘客�供�时播报的地���信�和直播的新闻节目。

  目�，上海所有轨�交通线路的站�和部分列车已�全部开通地�电视，年内覆盖所有��列车，今�还将�新线通车�步开通��，将形�全网直播体系。

  上海地�电视的播出时间为�天6时20分至23时。除了主��布地���信�之外，上海地�电视的节目以新闻资讯为主，辅以公众�务类节目。

  在试è¿�è�¥çš„å�Šå¹´ä¸­ï¼Œä¸Šæµ·åœ°é“�电视已ç»�播放了有关2010中国上海世å�šä¼šã€�世å�šå¿—愿者å�£å�·ã€�“å°�å¿—”在行动等多个宣传世å�šä¼šçš„公益片。

   

  Why such services not provided? It will be great if we can watch Channel News Asia in Train or waiting for Train.. Latest/updated news around the world is being watched..

  Yeah some MRTs have those TVs that used to show adverts or crap but has since not been used anymore.

   

  Waste of money getting it.

  YUp..  They shouldnt always thinking of getting $$$$ from advertisements. . they shd try to serve us  .. we are the one paying for the ride ..

  The article say in china (shanghai), they provided mobile TV in MRT for the passengers to watch news and latest information while riding or waiting.

  C751B has TV but it always off , in the past it was on.

  But that is not real TV.

  Basically just repeat advertisements i think.

  Actually not a bad idea, but i dont SMRT can supply that much power at a time?

  The current "door SIDE indicator" already almost not enough power(i think) put TV the train break down immediately lols.

  It's not the C651, it's the C751B. For the 1st few years i remember it being used to screen adverts, but few years ago it stopped working.

  Btw, any C751Bs whose VPIS still show time and date?

  that time i saw sthg weird on one VPIS when i was travelling on 319/320 NSL.. it wasnt understandable as well.. some random stuff
