I wasn't even born at that time , this is the annoucement used from 1987-1994. No next station annoucements at that time.

1987-1994 no announcements at all. Those announcements were added in our era, when C651 came in. Then the next station announcements went in between 1994-2000, then the announcement changed to Juanita when C751B came in. Of course, Chan Hui Yuh came in when C151 went for refurbishment.

aww man!! that a really old announcement, thats was Original Door Closing Announcement from 1994 to 1999... i was child..
The door closing buzzer "toot-toot-toot-toot-toot" was not used until the very late 90s. The occasional 'ding-dong' you hear played by some drivers at busy stations today as a secondry form of buzzer used to be the primary door closing buzzer since 1987 until the recorded announcements for it were made.
