Last time, I still remember, it was raining heavily and under CM(West-bound). Then the driver was like overrunning practically every stop from Tanah Merah to Paya Lebar. Luckily it was off peak and freq was 6 min at that time. That was about 3 years ago.
Yeah. It has happened b4.
What a pity no video! Maybe SMRT should also conduct lesson teach people how to CM the train (So that in case TO has some problem such as kena Heart Attack, then people like me or other train fans can CM until terminus as a contigency plan)

In the first place,
People who are medically certified fit are able to work. Who wants to work when their heart will fail anytime? Common sense la...
Of course all TO must be in tip-top condition before working..
That TO was replaced at Paya Lebar.
After that, no more overrun, even though it was still in CM

You must be unaware that some other country such as Russia if I am not wrong, a train driver has heart attack and died on the spot instead when someone committed suicide and surprisingly, was not hurt instead.
Edit reason: Tone changed.

Just now, SMRT was training a CSO to drive a CCL train in passenger service. Me, willis and littlearea was in the train. Amazingly, when the next station is Serangoon and Bartley, the next station announcement played the Bishan one...

I also know of this case in Melbourne or was it Sydney, when this rail service derailed along a stretch where it was a bend, and it was found that the driver had a heart attack and died, but the train continued moving becoz the "dead man's pedal aka auto E-brake" was stepped upon...

Very well said young man.
Call me ignorant or whatever, I don't care. A friend of mine who is a train driver, has heart problems, and he was taken down from the driver position.. Now he works at the ticket counter..
Of course, this kind of things comes by unexpectedly.. You maybe fine today, but tomorrow, heart attack.

Full exterior? Full interior? Or Full train (both)?
Colour scheme?
Thanks!
Was at Yishun MRT Station yesterday and looked at the STATIS board at the faregates. The wordy advertisement at the bottom was showing itself so slow (1 letter appearing every second).

123/124 which is before TRN105 accidentally X-over to East West Line at Jurong East on routine service today, causing a delay and trains to bunch up for the East West Line. The train was sent to UPD and 031/032(TRN105) came after stopping at the X-over track waiting for 2 eastbound trains.

117/118 departs slowly at Lakeside stn towards Joo Koon in the speed of about 10km/h . After passing by the crossover the train then gain its speed back to normal . 1 CSO was at the light blue colour thing at Lakeside Stn Maybe that causes the trains to go slow . Train service to Joo Koon is not affected by the way
