You were on board which specific train carriage at that time? I was on 1209.

Miscouplement can happen anytime , depending on the coupling workers.

These workers will get fired or not since they have done a bad job?

I'm not sure.
All trains pulling into Clementi are running on manual mode.
There is a dedicated staff on one side(at a time) blowing a whistle alerting pax of incoming train. Whistle is again blown just before doors are closed.

[EXCLUSIVE TRAIN FAULT] SMRT C651 209-210 - Train fault at Kembangan Station
209/210 must have went back BSD for repair..
For The miscoupling case, only if workers accidentally uncouple 2 or more trains decided to do a speedy recoupling, and never id they realise they coupled wrongly

Clementi is undergoing PSD installation works, so every train passes by have to run under CM mode..
Exclusive! Today I at Circle Line Bishan, the announcement said "Attention please. Due to train faults in certain sectors, the train service for both directions will be delayed for about 10 minutes." (Note: I intended to record it using TTOS, but the phone only allowed me to record for a minute, which is not enough to cover all 4 languages. Coupled with the hand's uncomfortable due to the speaker are put at a height which I need to raise my hand, I aborted the idea of recording the announcement and thus, the wording might not be the exact one) And the whole Bishan station was cramped by people during the peak hour (Approx 7:30pm)
Also, when the first train comes into Bishan (To Marymount, Was it Set 06? where I know I got see a 0 and a 6), due to too many people are alighting, and none passenger from Bishan managed to board the train -- furthermore, 2 passengers side by side was kiapped by the train and a few more passengers failed to alight at Bishan (Their destination is Bishan by the way, whether transfer or not is OT). So a few more minutes later, Set 25 comes in (To Marymount again, note: No trains to Dhoby Ghaut yet) and I managed to board in. (I suspect by then I come in, the faulty trains was sent back to depot)
What happens is, when it turn around to Bishan, it kiapped people again (And I heard a child cried lah, and an unhappy passenger complained to a CSO citing the train door is closing way too fast and that is no good along with the enquiry of the staff's ability to open the train door becoz of waiting for about 17minutes of train and only 2 passengers [on a door] managed to board the train {you can imagine how the ****ing pax amount is}, to which the staff replied as these trains are automatic and they cant do anything to open it.)
Such incidents happen again in Serangoon Interchange as well. None of these kiapping passenger happened in the non-Interchange stations. Futhermore, I was at the 1st PSD (HW for both directions)
No trains to Paya Lebar since then.
The only proof I have, is when the train going towards to Marymount, the train is in CM mode, and I happily snap pictures in front of a CSO who is talking / listening to a walkie talkie from depot staff. Well, he did not even care on my action.
Pictures of the driver cabin will be uploaded soon. (No videos, sorry -- mine is not good enough to do one.)
Please upload the video.
Company: SMRT
Line: CCL
Trainset: 30 (In fact most carriages were affected)
Train Type: C830
Station(s): All/Most
Direction: Marymount Bound
Date: 29 Apr 2010, Thur
Time: Evening
Reason: Signalling Problems
Details:
1. During the evening rush hour, a signalling problem appeared to have developed on the CCL. There was little or no information about next train timings for Marymount bound trains on the PIS.
2. Set 30, the one which I took, stopped longer than per usual at two stations: CC6 Stadium (2 mins) and CC7 Mountbatten (3 mins). SMRT staff were seen walking up and down with walkie talkies communicating with staff about the problem.
3. At Stadium station, another DBG bound train which pulled in just after set 30 entered was similarly delayed.
4. Set 30 had to be operated in manual mode. At Mountbatten station, the signal kept showing red prompting the train not to move off from the station; it was only after a "positive" was received was the train given the go-ahead to continue.
5. I questioned the staff working on set 30 and was told that there was a signalling problem.

Trainset: 025/026
Train Type: C151
Station(s): All/Most
Direction: Eastbound (Terminating at EW1 Pasir Ris)
Date: 29 Apr 2010, Thur
Time: Evening
Reason: Faulty Announcement/STARIS
Details:
1. 025/026 appeared to have problems with its announcement and STARIS systems when I found that no announcements were made. Even the door closing warning was not present, but the warning lights flashed as per normal.

Not only set 25. On the CCLD, many train have the similar problem near the ending of the discovery when it started to have malfunction.

Do they have special annoucement when kiap. If it was NEL, there will be a annoucement saying 'Please stand clear of doors.'
Now stage 1 and 2 open Bishan CCL Platform can get extremely crowded not like last time when there were only 5 stations open. imagine what it will be like when stage 4 and 5 open, even more pple will take, and bishan is at the central of the CCL stations
