the media should stop reporting on these suicides of jumping into tracks.
u know why? in psychology there is this thing called media bias and media propogation. in some ways, the media can propogate good public service messages.
it has its own back problems as well. for instance, this. the more the media reports, the more "inclined" some people might want to commit suicide at tracks.
Alstom metropolis ------ Today we saw a BPLRT train at the Ten Mile Junction on the service track , the train VPIS showed "Not in service" and 2 other texts. It left in 30 seconds. Some pictures taken.

Good point there, I was thinking (just thinking, not to offend anyone), if the media reports about this like, once every few days, then most likely they won't be even bothering to report who jumped into the tracks, but more on the numbers of people dying in Singapore, which then (something abit religious and "country-ist" this part, so I've whitened it) makes Singapore a hantu country.

A China company got 13 suiciders, most of them are jump of from the buildings, out of the 13, 1 cut wrist or sort of who had rescued on time, and out of the remaining 12, only 2 survived but seriously injured from a result of jumping off from the company building.
What a trend.

On the CGL Branch, there was a signal fault along the Changi depot, causing the EMG brakes to applyjust after expo(TNM Bound).TO made an announcement saying that there was a signal fault, and asked us to remain calm.
Later whenever the TO tried to acclerate, the EMG brakes were applied. After repeating "0140 error"(The cabin doors were a little ajar, you see)we moved off as per normal.Trainset>321-322
Trainset 003-004 had no verbal announcements.
