This morning there is a train fault at some section of the route towards joo koon, train service has delayed severely.
What happened was that, seen from Eunos WB, 311/312 pulled 011/012 after EUN EB.. So i suspect 011/012 went faulty.. Alot of ppl were very impatient then
EB trainset 055/056 was travelling at a relatively slow speed when entering Chinese Garden and Jurong East stations at approximately 7.30pm yesterday.
Suspect that the train is in CM mode but no reason for it to be in in that mode as the weather was fine then and conditions were good.

Had 311/312 passengers?
It must have hauled 011/012 into CHD.

No wonder juz now the frequency was delayed at Tampines
just now something kinda weird happened, C651 203/204 approached CityHall EB in CM for no good reason..

It wasnt carrying any passengers then, cuz after i see 311/312, the train behind was immediately 011/012.. Being pulled.
I think only BSD can do maintenance works

I think he meant the train that came after 311/312 was 011/12.

I think it's really 311/312 coupled with 011/012, as the post said, "being pulled"

12-car haul out.

One end of 311/312 coupled to 011/012.
Btw 8730A, was 311/312 in front or behind 011/012 during the hauling?

Yeah under the seats near the coupler, they would have a notice saying what.
One working train couples with the defective train and check that it has been coupled properly before releasing service breaks. I guess 011/012 went boomz~?

I believe it's in CHD undergoing maintenance.
OT: 888th post!
311/312 was in front in the first place..
I not sure if CHD handles maintenance....Cuz I everyday see the trains just to park to sleep

All trains will procced in CM mode from Dover to Lakeside (EWL) and Choa Chu Kang to Jurong East (NSL) due to construction at jurong east and installing HHPSD.

I see half trains in CHD.
Last Trains to "Dhoby Ghaut" changed?

today, saw one C651(didn't see the set no. clearly) overrun pasir ris station. Trains that approached the station at platform A had to come in CM mode.

CM or RM? If there is an overrun train the trains entering has to be in RM mode.

Purposely wants to reduce operation costs
Guys, I notice something
Siemens Train would always have the same high-pitch sound first.
Alstom Trains would always have the same first accelerating sound first.
No wonder C751A sounds musical.

no $$ earn lol. All their fault what. Close the doors at Dhoby Ghaut so early. Some pathetic people has to wait 14 mins before they can board a CCL train at DBG during PEAK HOURS.

It's true.....
Wait until u see these 2 clips.......
R160B Siemens - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyzeG9YgR98
R160B Alstom - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNAzZnAvQGo
Very common to see these trains being coupled together....... Siemens + Alstom traction system....... FYI , R160 is built by Kawasaki and Alstom......

Nah, that's not true at all. It's pretty rare - when the US trainspotters see this they consider this as "exclusives". There are cases of R160A and R160B (Siemens motors) coupled together too.
I would love to hear the result of a C751A coupled with a C651. But of course, that will never happen.
