Is it me or is there a new "No Eating or Drinking" announcement in SMRT stations? It goes like
"Attention please, no eating or drinking is allowed in stations or the trains. No eating or drinking is allowed in stations or the trains."
I heard it in Tampines, I have a recording of it too.

I didn't hear the "Train is Coming" jingle on any of my trips today.

It's of different tone than the "Eating or drinking is not allowed in stations and trains". Even the words are different.

Well, pretty much every station does now. And they were playing it in Lakeside and Commonwealth before, but they didn't play them today.

Today another case of overran
Onboard 061/062 from JUR WB, when it leaves the stn, the speed increases rapidly and ran so fast like nvr b4. When it reaches CNG, it was in speeding mode and overran by a few metres after the train stops. The TO said :" This train has overran, pax going to CNG, kindly alight at the next stop and board the EB train back to CNG."

At 10:03 am,JUR, 221/222 crossover from NB track to EB track as DNB train..all passengers had to alight & wait for the next train...
Anyway,as it was raining heavily,a c751B stop halfway @ BBT cos' TO drive the train in AM!!! He stop the train(cab door exactly facing me with the TO inside) & switch to CM b4 moving the train & stop @ the correct position...
